Storm knew enough about the clans from her mother to decide if she really wanted to join one. And she did. But she wasn't sure which of the four to join, and if she couldn't pick then it just wouldn't be worth joining any. She was currently at the border of one of them. She figured if she met cats from each clan, she could decide. She smiled as she saw a cat on what she thought to be the Fireclan border. There was the issue of how to act at that time towards that cat, but she was sure she would figure it out.

Moonfur padded throughout Fireclan's territory, shivering just a tiny bit at the cold. Despite her somewhat thick pelt, leaf bare was leaf bare. As the neared the border, the scent of another caused the warrior to turn towards the source. It didn't smell like another Fireclanner, and it was across the border, anyway.
And yet.. it not like one of the other clans, either.
After a few more moments of searching for who it was- she couldn't just follow the scent because it went somewhere past the border- she spotted the cat she was looking for.
It was a female, and she didn't seem like a clanner. 'Loner, then. Or rouge. Guess it doesn't make much of a difference to us..' Moonfur thought to herself. Seeing she were standing almost just at the border the warrior bounded over. "Why are you here?" she asked, not unfriendly- not yet. If she had to, she could become more serious, but she situation didn't call for it at the time. If it had been up to her, she wouldn't have approached the cat in the first place. However, the Warrior Code said otherwise. Challenge all trespassing cats.[/ul][/font]

Storm reacted to the bluntness of the cat as she would react to any canyon cat, as that was how they tended to act. As it was this other cats area, that was defaulted to answering all questions but acting in defense if need be. "Why am I taking a walk? I and considering joining a clan and I have to figure out which one before I tell my likely over protective sister about my plans." she responded in a thoughtful tone. "I'm Storm."

Moonfur tilted her head to the side slightly, a bit surprised. It wasn't every day you came across a cat looking to possibly join a clan. "Well then, I'm Moonfur." the warrior replied, deciding she might as well share her name. Her tone was lighter this time, knowing that Storm probably didn't mean any harm. Either way, she still kept her guard up, just in case. "Are you looking to join any of the clans in particular?" she asked, merely out of curiosity.

"That's what I'm trying to figure out now. I'm thinking Iceclan or Fireclan," she responded. Her opinion was swayed more towards Iceclan, but Fireclan was a close runner up.

[Moonfur]

Moonfur nodded thoughtfully, still a little surprise over the thought of her wanting to join a clan. "I see. I guess now you're waiting for me to start talking about how Fireclan's better?" the warrior asked with a half laugh. Some cats would immediately go straight into trying to get her to join them. Moonfur wasn't the kind of cat to do that. Perhaps it was just because she wanted others to make their own choices instead. Inwardly she shrugged, not quite sure herself.

Storm shook her head with a small laugh. "I'm hoping quite the opposite. I already know about the clans enough, my mum taught me. I want to see what cats in the clan are like."

Moonfur whisker's twitched slightly in amusement. "I wasn't going to," she said with a slight smile. "I guess that would be a good idea. A clan's also the cats in it." she said. Then, a question popped into her mind. "Have you met any other clan cats?"

Storm nodded. "Mostly Iceclanners and Treeclanners. They just want to promote their clan though. They seem to trust to easily, though they do have backup if it is misplaced."
