A small cloud of dust rose around my hindquarters as I sat in the grass with a small plunk! The fields stretched on either side of me -- to my left, they gave way to the crumbling, old farmhouse, and to the right they dispersed among the famous rocks that my Clan had gained its name from. In between the rocks and the building, though, were the grazing animals, and those were what I had come to see. I knew that, no, I was not supposed to be out and about alone as an apprentice, but honestly, I was nearing warrior age and I believed I could take care of myself. Besides, the rules weren't enforced, and, even if they were, I doubted anyone would even choose to go to the grazing fields. It wasn't too popular of a spot, I'd come to notice. I had only been there once before, and I found the large, spotted animals to be quite strange. It was entertaining to watch the way they lumbered around, occasionally letting out a deep, drawn out bellow. The fluffy, cloud-like animals were much smaller and seemed friendlier. Maybe one day I'd build up enough courage to touch one as I had always wanted to do; they seemed so soft. Although, I'd heard stories of cats being kicked in the gut, and that didn't seem nearly as appealing. My thoughts drifted as I watched the animals, and I didn't even notice another cat had approached until they were behind me. I looked over my shoulder, scrambling quickly to my feet. "Oh, uh.." Whitejaw , sorry this is a bit long whoops

-i forgot all about this and it's been over a month, imsosorry-
whitejaw smirked, looking at an apprentice he had never met before who seemed to be looking at all the weird creatures there where nearby. "what are you doing out here alone?" the young warrior asked, flicking an ear. of course, the black tom wasn't actually angry that the apprentice had left camp without a warrior with him- he too did it during his apprenticeship... but he was curious anyway. "don't worry, i wont tell anyone," he purred, flicking his long, thin tail.
