FoxpawBirdheart spent most days on this hill. None of her kits would speak to her except for a few sad smiles from her eldest. She stayed on this hill all day waiting. Everything she lost was on this hill her children her mate. They all were here and had moments here. She was stiff as a board despite the occasional unstable shake. She hadn't spoken in so long she didn't know if she still could. She didn't know how she still could feel or still could grieve or how she still could stand or why she still just could. She wanted it to end just to see her children just to hold her son once more. Just to see thunderfox's smile. She honestly didn't know if smiling was something her mouth could still do.

Foxpaw wasn't much of a social butterfly these days. He had isolated himself from his clan for a while now, but that could never be as long as the tom had spoken to his mother. The ginger cat was taking his usual walk from the camp, taking a new route by the hill. He could see the figure of his mother and walked over, no real expression in his gaze.
"... Mom?"

he just managed to weakly turn her head after all this wasn't real anyway.

Foxpaw was at the very least shocked to see her mother's expression. What the heck happened!? Last time he saw her, Birdheart was a happy, proud mother. The hell is happening to this family!?
"Mom, are you okay?"

Foxpaw stared blankly at his mother. "You could have just came to talk to us... I don't know where Dad is though." He sighed, hating to see his own mother like this. He padded towards her, "You need anything to eat? I can go catch a mouse." He asked in a monotone.

"well I don't know if he's dead and you don't need to get me anything but thank you." she hadn't worked up much of an appitite lately.

"I'm sure he's not dead. From what I can assume, he seems pretty capable." Foxpaw said, sitting next to Birdheart. He stared at the she-cat, and reluctantly asked. "What was Dad like? I never got the chance to meet him, or even see him."

"He was always smiling he was able to pull through any situation. He was charming and funny but he really did care. He was a great warrior he was enthusiastic and sportive of everything. He was very sweet and romantic and he was willing to see the person inside everyone else" she said with a small smile as big tears rolled down her face.
