Lunakit prowled the nursery in search of something interesting to do. Nothing seemed to interest her anymore. She scored the area, time and time again, only to find a frozen plant here, a twig there, and a leftover scrap of food that should've been eaten or thrown out. She sighed, what was she suppose to do? She knew not one cat, and she wasn't too good at making friends. She was reserved, not too shy, but trying to be a bit more talkative. As she looked out the nursery and at the apprentice den, she always tried to mimic their spirited behaviour. The way they teased each other seemed like a friendly and cute thing to do, but Lunakit wasn't sure if she could ever tease anyone. It seemed like something close friends would do.

She scanned the area again. It was so... empty? She just noticed that everyone seemed to be asleep. Afternoon naps, the ones I hate, she thought, remembering how her mother had tried to hold her back as she squirmed away. Lunakit had great memory, when it came to big, important details. The small ones her brain just threw away. She sat down, bored, and decided to wait until someone awoke.

Ebonykit enjoyed taking naps in the day, since that was when it was warmest, and she found herself the most tired then. At night, Ebonykit liked to creep around the camp, blending in to her surrounding with ease and avoiding the detection of older cats who would try to send her back to the nursery.

Ebonykit awoke from a pleasant dream, the memory of it fading as soon as she opened her eyes. A she-cat caught her eyes, a dark she-cat that looked a bit like Ebonykit, but with striking blue eyes.

"Hello there," Ebonykit mewed, her voice smooth like honey, her glowing pale green gaze resting icily on the other she-kit. "You look bored." She commented, taking note of the strange she-kit's demeanor.

Lunakit had found another cat who seemed awake. Her gaze kept the other's green eyes, and she responded with a simple, "Yeah, it's boring when everyone else is asleep."

"I don't mind it." Ebonykit mewed with a shrug, her eyes still gleaming. Her tail twitched from side to side, and she continued to stare at the she-kit with an unreadable expression. "There are plenty things to do without other cats."

"So, what's your name?"

Lunakit wondered what things she could do without another cat. Sit in a corner and think about her life? Yeah, that sounded like tons of fun.

She smiled, "I'm Lunakit, what about you?"
