(open to anyone! i just wanted to rp my oldest account again :3 coughpleasepostcough)
I was bored all the time. Now that my friends had disappeared, my apprentices were warriors or nowhere to be found, and my mate had seemingly vanished into thin air -- I had since gotten over most of the sadness -- I had nothing to do. I was at that awkward age between warriorhood and elderhood; I had begun to feel the age creeping through my bones, yet I wasn't ready to stop moving yet. I had no children, no family (not alive, at least).
So, I was left to restlessly pace IceClan's camp. So much had changed since I was a kitten -- we'd gone through four deputies and three leaders since I'd been born. It seemed a little ridiculous in my opinion, but then again, I was never a huge fan of change. Thinking of these things, I didn't notice I was forging a path straight into another cat; not until I stepped on their paw. I blinked in surprise, backing up. "Ah, whoops. My apologies."

(I feel for you. I just recently recreated my oldest cat.) Snowwhisper was eating a mouse, subcontiously keeping watch on the medicine cat den in case someone entered. She glanced up, shocked, as mother cat stepped on her paws though. "Not an issue." she responded. The white cat sat up from the laying position she had been in and her green eyes inspected the older cat who stood before her. "You are wolf..." she thought for a moment to remember the cats full name, "Wolfmist, right?" she asked. She had been trying to memorize other cats names as they always seemed to know her and it bothered her not knowing the name of a cat who knew hers.

I do not know where I come from, I do not know where I'm going (hope you don't mind me slipping in here, there are like no kits in the nursery)
whitekit had been dying to get out of the nursery, even though she knew it was against the rules. she just couldn't help that she was so curious about everyone out of her limits. this was the first time she ever set foot out of the den she was confined in, and it felt like a huge relief. now, hopefully she didn't get caught and sent back.
she looked around the camp, not wanting to venture too far. after a few paces, she came along two cats talking. one looked like a slightly old warrior, and the other, she recognized as a medicine cat. she, of course, didn't know their names.
stupid with curiosity, whitekit padded over to them and sat down not far away. she did not want to interrupt, but she did want them to notice she was there. after a bit of sitting, the secretive side of her brain woke up. she sprang up and dove behind a nearby shrub, quite loudly, if anything. I only know, that if I continue, I will not be able to return |

(asdnfkb thank you guys for posting aaa)
I looked up, recognizing the face before me. She was the.. medicine cat, wasn't she? Brightflame? No, no, that had been a while back, and he'd been a male. It came to me a moment later, although I was slightly disappointed with myself. Things in the Clan were changing too often, too fast for my liking, and it was hard to keep track of it all. I'd always thought of myself to have a sharp mind, but all of this was confusing, especially if you didn't attend Clan meetings often. I blinked in surprise as she spoke my name, looking back towards her. "Mhm, how'd you know?" I spoke rather bluntly. "And.. Snowwhisper, yeah?" I asked hopefully.
My eyes followed a kitten, distracting me from the conversation, as it approached the two of us. At first thinking she had just been passing by, I was proven wrong when the little thing sat a few feet away, watching us intently. A soft smile, a rare expression for me, crossed my face as Whitekit dove shyly into a nearby bush. "Hello," I murmured. I'd always had a soft spot for kits -- perhaps it was because I had never had any of my own.

Snowwhisper nodded and was about to answer his question when she saw the small kit and also gave a kind smile. She smiled a lot though, but she had no special soft spot for kits as most cats did. They got special treatment, sure as their feelings were hurt much easier, but in her mind she only tried to keep them as happy as any other warriors. "Hello there. What's your name?" she asked the kit, although she had managed to learn the kits names first because they tended to be really excited when a medicine cat knew their names, but this one was younger, so she didn't know her name. Funny how much she obsessed about names when she had more important things to notice like, for example, if they had any ailments. She also focused on that, of course, just not when acctually meeting them face to face.

I do not know where I come from, I do not know where I'm going rats, whitekit thought as both the warrior noticed that she had been in their proximity. though, they both seemed nice enough.
she edged out of the bush and looked up at them, not sure if they would send her back to the nursery or not. however, she was not a shy kit, and wanted to learn lots of things. so, not caring if she was send back, she spoke. "hi," she said at first, then, when the medicine cat asked her something, she answered her, too. "i'm whitekit." she was not offended that the cat didn't know her name, and simply didn't think of it. she smiled when they smiled. they had nice smiles, she soon realized.
after a short bit, she ventured out to ask them, "are you going to send me back to the nursery?" as she said this, she did not make innocent puppy eyes like some kits might. she had seen kits do that to get what they want, and personally, it annoyed her. I only know, that if I continue, I will not be able to return |

I stood beside the medicine cat, the soft smile resting on my face as the small black kitten removed herself from the bush. Whitekit -- how strange, she was completely black. I thought perhaps her mother had been trying to be funny, which would be rather cruel, but a few moments later, I noticed her white markings. Satisfied, I gave a tiny nod to myself. "It's nice to meet you, Whitekit. My name is Wolfmist," the older she-cat mewed, turning towards Snowwhisper with a blink as I awaited her introduction.
My fluffy tail swept around my paws as I sat down. I let out a soft chuckle in response to the kitten's question, shaking my head. "You don't have to worry 'bout that," I responded, my tail tip flicking. I didn't really believe in the rule of kittens being forced to stay in the nursery -- or under queen supervision -- unless they were newborns. Kittens needed to explore, as I had once experienced on my own.

"I'm Snowwhisper. It's nice to meet you." she told the kit with a smile. "That's even a rule?" she aksed, turning to the warrior. She had been born out of the clans, and to her that just seemed plain out stupid. She wasn't sure if the kit was making it up or it was an acctual rule that no one followed.

I do not know where I come from, I do not know where I'm going whitekit stared at both of them, wide-eyed and curious. she simple watched them both, not saying anything as it seemed they were talking amongst themselves. I only know, that if I continue, I will not be able to return |

(oh wow this is late sorry)
I blinked at Snowwhisper, nodding. "A horrible one," I responded, my tail flicking back and forth. I turned back to the kitten, who was rather quiet. "Who is your mother?" I asked curiously, wondering if, perhaps, she was the daughter of my sister -- Rowansky.

I do not know where I come from, I do not know where I'm going "my mom's peachglow," whitekit reported happily and with a smile. she didn't exactly know why the older warrior would want to know, but it was not in her nature to question. I only know, that if I continue, I will not be able to return |

Snowwhisper bleached slightly at such a rule. Recognizing the queen and the tone in Wolfmist's voice, she turned to the other warrior. "Peachglow has always come off as a sort of protective cat to me. She may be the one with more of a problem over it currently, but it's a stupid rule and I think even she won't have that much of a problem." she said thoughtfully, loud enough for Wolfmist but not Whitekit to hear. Then louder she turned and spoke to the kitten. "We won't tell on you for such a small thing though."
