@laurel
Sunshadow had told her newest apprentice, Laurelpaw, to meet her outside of camp to begin training. She'd gotten up with the sun, as usual, eaten, and was now ready for their first session. Although this was the golden she-cat's first apprentice in quite some time, she wasn't a bit nervous about training them. Sunshadow was confident in her ability to teach, and she knew her skills as a warrior were more than acceptable.
As soon as she spotted her apprentice, Sunshadow waved her tail, giving a nod of greeting. "Today we're going to be getting to know Iceclan territory. Stay close to me, there are a lot of dangerous places in the mountain." Sunshadow wondered whether or not Laurelpaw had been alive when Iceclan had been living at the Farm. In her eyes, the Farm had been a lax and soft place, unfit for Iceclan cats.
((okay! sorry this took so long. the training is going to take the course of four threads- territory, hunting, fighting, and then the assessment.))

Laurelpaw walked out of the apprentices den slightly cautiously and ate a quick mouse before heading out to meet Sunshadow. She walked up to fine her mentor in the territory, which was a whole different world than the camp. Then again, she knew that. She hadn't been the least tired when she joined the clan on their trip back from the barn, and she had seen everything. Huge birds she had only seen maybe a few times before, rocky cliffs, and most important to avoid, Icecovered slopes. She nodded at her mentor, understanding exactly what the older cat meant.

"As you know, IceClan is a mountainous clan. Besides for the landmarks that we're going to visit today, the territory is made up of small streams and stone structures. It's easy to get lost, but you'll get used to it." Sunshadow began walking, her pawsteps sure and steady. She made sure to keep an eye on Laurelpaw, assuring that she didn't trip or fall behind.
"First, we'll be visiting the Hollow Rock. The story behind it is, uh, odd.. But it's a pretty cool place." The gold she-cat explained, stopping as they reached their destination. It was a large, hollow rock, as expected, and Sunshadow herself like to go there when she needed solitude.

Laurelpaw carefully made her way through the rocks, picking up the pace in what she deemed safer areas so she kept up even with the careful movements. When they arrived she was glad. It was hard for her to manage time as such, but she was proud that she had managed. She found that it was intact a hollow rock, but was curious as to its history.

"Apparently, there was a cat who had sinned so badly that he wanted to hide from CloudClan, and he dug out this place. I thought only RockClan cats could carve stone, but.. It's probably just a legend." Sunshadow explained with a shrug, not taking it too seriously.
She waved her tail, moving on. The two of them kept walking until rushing water could be heard, and Sunshadow stopped at the river, where it sloped off into a large waterfall. "Speaking of RockClan, this is our border. Everything below the waterfall is their territory.. You don't have to worry about accidentally crossing the border unless you fall in the river."
