Rainkit liked Rockclans camp, but now that she knew the clan would be leaving this place, she was spending less time in it. The she-kit was torn between wanting to remember what it was like, and wanting to hurt less when it came time to depart. The threat of a rockfall was now hanging over the clan, literally, and it made her even more stressed than she usually was.
To distract herself, Rainkit tried to imagine what her life would be like. She would be apprenticed soon. becoming Rainpaw, and surely her mentor would be a great cat from whom she would learn much. Then, she would be a warrior. What would her name be?
"Rain..feather. Rainmist. Rainstep. Rainclaw." The tuxedo she-cat sounded out different names, feeling how each one rolled off of her tongue. She decided that Rainmist was her favorite, and continued with her daydream. Rainmist would be an amazing and dependable warrior, so good that Cloverstar, or whoever would be leader then, would name her deputy.
Then, Rainmist would become, "Rainstar." She said out loud, shivering in excitement. Rainkit looked around hastily, trying to see if anyone had been listening.

Nobody had told Coyotekit anything about leaving. So, as far as he knew... This was the camp he'd know for the rest of his life. He didn't particularly pay much mind to his surroundings, having long since worn out entertainment of observing them, studying every crack. Now, the environment was boring as heck. He preferred messing around with other cats.
He hoped to become an apprentice soon, so he could get his claws on more information. As an apprentice he'd have a mentor he could pester for information, and he could explore the territory! It'd probably be loads more interesting than the boring camp. Plus, he wanted to learn how to hunt and fight. It'd give him more tools to force entertainment out of his clanmates, for sure.
Alas... For now, he was just a kit: Trapped in the camp. He yawned and turned his head, noticing a she-kit mumbling to herself. She seemed to be mumbling warrior names. Her name was probably Rainkit and she was thinking up warrior names. Slipping on an easy smile he approached her from the side.
"Rainstar, huh?" He purred. "I'm guessing your name's Rainkit, and you've got a big dreams?" He was still curious about friendship, but since the interaction with Scorpionkit had gone so wrong... He was trying to be more cautious in his endeavors. He figured he'd been too pushy last time.

Despite how flustered Rainkit was feeling that this kit had been listening in on her mumblings, she gave him a friendly smile, her tail waving. She didn't recognize him, and for a moment she marveled at how many kits there were in Rockclan. How would they all just pack up and leave? Certainly, there would be casualties.
"Uh, yeah.." Rainkit shuffled her paws. "I just want to help cats however I can, and I could best do that as a leader." She explained, hoping that she didn't sound too conceited.
The tuxedo she-kit forced herself to relax, changing the topic of conversation. "So, what's your name?"

Coyotekit's smile seemed to widen at seeing how flustered this she-kit seemed. Ha! Seemed she'd be way more fun than any of his boring, fun killing siblings. She even was friendly to him! She smiled and everything. Still. Time to do that weird thing he never really cared for. Be nice.
Ah.... The things he did for curiosity's sake!
"No, that makes sense." He purred in response. "I'm Coyotekit."

"Nice to meet you, Coyotekit." Rainkit nodded, her eyes bright. Seeing that he wasn't going to mock her, she was able to move past the awkward moment from previously and get to work on making friends.
She tilted her head, searching for something to think about. "So, Coyotekit.. What do you want your warrior name to be?" Rainkit knew that it wasn't something either of them could choose, but she still found it very fun to think about. If Rainkit was ever leader, she would have lots of fun trying to find the perfect name for her warriors.

Coyotekit's eyes seemed to almost sparkle. Ah...! So this kind of behavior got him compliments! Not that they really meant anything to him asides from progress. Rainkit seemed to relax at this point, which was better for his plans.
He shrugged. "I don't really care. Maybe something that doesn't sound violent." He liked the idea of his name being unassuming, so perhaps cats would be inclined to believe he's not dangerous. Just in case he decided to be, they'd be caught off guard and wouldn't be able to stop his plans.

"Well.. Coyote is already pretty intimidating, so it would have to be something plain. Like Coyotefur, or Coyotepool." Rainkit was glad that she wasn't named after a dangerous predator. She liked her namesake, it was pretty and calming.
Rainkit stood up, stretching, and then licked her chest, flattening her somewhat ruffled fur. "So, Coyotekit, what's up? Are you excited about the move?" She was referring to when RockClan would have to leave, of course.

Coyotekit huffed. "I guess you're right... I don't want a boring name, though." He complained openly. He didn't care how he came across. He figured it was a perfectly valid complaint! What cat wanted to be seen as boring?! A boring name spoke for a boring cat.
Then suddenly his eyes, which had been mostly focused in Rainkit's direction, focused acutely on Rainkit, his ears perked up at attention. She'd gotten Coyotekit's attention and interest, in a more concrete manner. "Move? What move? Tell me now."

Rainkit blinked, not liking the way that Coyotekit was looking at her. "You don't know?" She frowned. Rainkit had thought that every cat knew, after all, Cloverstar had publicly announced it. Had Coyotekit not attended the meeting?
"RockClan's move. Cloverstar said that there's going to be a rockfall that's gonna crush the camp, so we have to find a new territory.." Rainkit shivered, still very unnerved by the idea of it all.

Coyotekit shook his head, when Rainkit asked if he didn't know. "No. I don't." He had a vague recollection of some meeting... Sort of. He was pretty sure he'd been distracted by something, he didn't remember what. He just remembered he wanted to stay in the nursery rather than attend the meeting.
He tilted his head. "A rockfall? Like, one big rock or a ton of rocks that will undoubtedly kill us all if we stay here?" He asked for clarification, some of his more morbid interest leaking out unintentionally.

"A lot of rocks. Image the cliffs falling apart, and complete destruction reigning down." Rainkit was unnerved by Coyotekit's reaction. He didn't look scared at all, in fact, the tom-kit seemed excited for the incoming disaster.
Her tone lowered, and she looked down at her paws. "All of us could die." The black and white she-kit mumbled.

Coyotekit was curious about seeing such a sight, how it might affect the clan... If they were still here when the rocks hit. Alas, it seemed they'd be moving before then. Also, he actually did retain his sense of self-preservation... So, he was rather relieved they'd be leaving. "Sounds stressful." He said instead.
He tilted his head. "You said we're leaving before then, right? So we don't die. Don't get all mopey about it." He said, though his tone was neutral... So it wasn't exactly comforting. That, and he actually wouldn't mind seeing her mopey. It was kind of funny, really.

"Cloverstar doesn't know when the rocks are going to fall. And she's going on another journey before we leave, it seems like she's cutting it close." Rainkit explained. She didn't mind Coyotekit's bluntness- he hadn't been at the ceremony, so of course he would get the wrong idea about things.
She let out a sigh. "Maybe we'll be fine. I mean, I'm sure everything will be fine." Rainkit at least didn't want other cats stressing out because of her.

Coyotekit tilted his head. "How do you know the rocks falling is going to happen as soon as Cloverstar comes back...?" He asked Rainkit. "I wouldn't sweat it. She's supposed to be our wise leader who knows what's best for us, right? She wouldn't just leave, right?" He wouldn't. If he had a whole clan whom he could do practically whatever he wanted... He sure as heck wouldn't be letting it go. Heh.
He smiled. "That's the spirit."

"It won't help to sit around worrying all day, either." Rainkit shook her head, like she was trying to expel the negative thoughts from her mind. She was glad for Coyotekit, he was doing good to serve as a voice of reason.
Rainkit frowned, searching for something else to talk about. "So, what do you want to do?" Rainkit asked. Coyotekit seemed fun, with plenty of interesting ideas.
