muddy growled quietly and looked away from swanfrost, flicking an ear again, "why should i?" he asked, blinking his green eyes, "you haven't done anything to be thanked for," he shook his damp pelt.

"I'm trying to help you." Swanfrost scoffed, flattening her large ears against her head. "How many strangers have done that for you before?"

muddy lifted a white paw and licked it- he was going to reply back and say that he didn't need hers or anyone's help, but decided against so, "none," he said, looking away again and placing his paw back on the ground.

"Yeah. That's what I thought." Swanfrost scowled, standing to her paws. She wasn't even sure why she was helping him, he obviously didn't like her much and she couldn't say anything different about him. She turned to leave, slightly awkward.
