Fallenstar had given the Clan a few days notice that they'd be heading to the lower parts of the mountains to refuge, at least temporarily. If they could at least wait till green leaf brought better weather and more kits. "IceClan, let's go." The feline flicked his tail and led the way. He'd hope he'd at least have the support of his deputy, medecine cats or queens with this decision but he couldn't expect it. This decision came out of lack of knowledge and inexperience as a leader. Fallenstar was still growing. He knew some would oppose this decision.
Fallen led the group warily past the rocky and snowy terrain. "Watch the elders and kits closely. Make sure not to slip. Some paths may be icy. We don't want any injuries along the way." He ensured before cautiously continuing.
[Feel free to have cats discuss with each other how they feel about this, feel free to have them speak up and address everyone, or you can even get a bit of an injury down the icy mountain if you'd like. This is just a little fun thread for the travel.]

Snowwhisper made sure to gather at least a small supply of every important herb in the bundle. She figured the trip wouldn't be all that far, but the less trips back the better, as well as the more prepared for injuries the better. She was a bit weary of the trip though. It was true that the lower areas of the clans had more prey, that was simply logic, but she also knew that any sort of trip could pose a lot of problems from those on the trip, esspecially when kits and elders joined in. She always was more susceptible to the dangerous feelings in the air than normal cats, and the same went for sad and angry. It was a part of why she was a medicine cat. She wasn't sure she felt any as they began the trip, which could be good or bad. The danger could be lurking in the dark, preparing by to pounce when everyone was least prepared.
Snowwhisper picked up her bundle of herbs after casting a small, reassuring smile to Fallenstar. Then she Javan weaving through the cats, as she got the feeling she would do a lot. When had decided to try to stay in the back where the kits and elders would likely fall behind, but if no one did she would probably end up walking through the crowd, watching out for limps or coughs.
She made her way to the back of the group and decided to let them start walking and then she would follow behind, but she would not let the other cats out of sight completely. Of coarse, this plan was formulated by her and her alone, so she wasn't sure if Frostbreeze Cinderflame or Fallenstar would come and give her something else they've would perfer her to do.

Pikepaw looked around the camp with clouded blue eyes. This had been his home for so many moons, where he had grown up and met all of his closest friends. We only just got back... he thought. It felt wrong to just abandon the camp after such a short return. Still, if CloudClan trusted Fallenstar then Pikepaw knew he should as well. He had faith in old warrior ancestors, even if they weren't his own.
The blue tabby slipped back to walk with the queens, watching over the kits carefully. He figured that this would be the hardest on them; the elders at least knew the territory, had some knowledge of what the trek to come would be like, but it was likely the kits would waste a lot of their energy in the beginning, when they were most excited about seeing the territory.

Flightfoot watched as her clan gathered up everything, leaving the only home she had ever known. Her eyes watered with emotion as her gaze swept the clearing, before forcing herself to turn away and follow her clan. No matter how much the pain in her chest hurt, she was loyal to her leader and clan. She let her paws sink into the snow as they made their way down the mountain. She let memories of her apprentice days swirl through her mind as she traversed through the Snowy Woods.
She had stuck herself in the middle of the group with some younger warriors and apprentices. "Watch the elders and kits closely. Make sure not to slip. Some paths may be icy. We don't want any injuries along the way." "Of course, Fallenstar," she meowed, always the loyal warrior. She slowed her gait and came to travel behind the clan, walking beside Snowwhisper, the medicine cat. "Hello, Snowwhisper," she mewed, "Do you need any help?"

Snowwhisper smiled as another cat asked if she needed any help, her voice muffled by the bundle as she spoke, "Yes, acctually. If you see anyone injured or coughing," she added the second one just in case some cat got a cold, as that would also pose an issue if not treated, "Could you notify me or send them back to me?" she asked the warrior. She could have also asked her to spread the news that in her Beech Leaf bundle she had packed some Burnet to help keep all of their strength up, but she thought it to much to ask. Besides, warriors seemed to have such pride that there was no way in Darkpool that they would acctually admit to being tired. Rethinking it, she relised she had probably brought to many herbs for the small-ish length of the trip, but it was better to have herbs once they arrived too.

Cinderflame nodded as her leader spoke. "Mentors, your apprentices are your responsibility, do not lose sight of them." The deputy spoke, remembering about her own apprentice, Ebonypaw. She wondered where the young black tabby she-cat was anyways. 'She'll come but hopefully not late.'
The black she-cat had faith in her leader even if she had her own doubts about leaving the their camp when they had only just got back. 'He needs my support, I cannot fail him.' Cinder thought. She followed her leader, keeping an eye out on the cats all around her. Cinderflame hoped that there wouldn't be trouble.

{ } Thornfrost was scouting up and down the clan lines, making sure everyone stayed together and did not stray too far from the path Fallenstar laid out. He'd already noted Pikepaw helping out the kits and queens and had given his apprentice an approving nod. At least he didn't have to keep too close an eye on the older tom. He was practically ready to receive his own name. It left Thornfrost the time he needed to guard over the rest of the clan. He continued roving, ranging up and down the long line in bursts in case anyone called out for help. He didn't like Fallenstar's idea at all. Moving the entire clan was dangerous, particularly at this time of year. The paths were prone to avalanches and rockfalls, and in such a large group there would be no way to escape. MADE BY VEL OF GS

Emberkit stayed in the back where most of the queens and kits seemed to be, her tail flicking uncertainly. She was excited to have some sort of adventure in her dull life, but she knew that this was dangerous, so she made sure to try and keep up with the others. Although she quickly found herself growing tired, her ears drooping. She was fairly young, and didn't do a lot of exercise, let alone move camp. She was very curious to see where they would be making there new home. She knew it wouldn't look much different; they were still staying on the mountain, simply moving further down. Still, she was sure it wouldn't exactly resemble camp now. Emberkit gasped as she lost her footing, almost tumbling over. She managed to rebalance herself, heart still thumping wildly in her chest as she swallowed thickly. She would have to remember to pay attention to her surroundings.

Snowwhisper moved forward slightly as @emberrr stumbled, giving the kit a small smile. "You want me to carry you?" she asked.

Already assembled with the other cats, Ivy found herself soffing at the deputy's command. Watch your apprentices. With a flimsy system such as that, Ivy, a cat without a mentor, could easily slip through the cracks without anyone noticed. Doing so was her specialty. She designed her lifestyle so that she could do just that at any moment, and nobody would notice. She even considered trying that, now.
But it was only fun so long as nobody got hurt. Alone on a slippery slope, Ivy had no safety net. They time, it would be better to stay with the others, so she did. That being said, she did remain towards the back edge as much as she could.
It seemed to her that they had been doing an awful lot of moving lately. Fine with her- she never liked the old camp anyway. It still hadn't felt like home. But it did beg the question, did Fallenstar even know what he was doing?

It was cold. That was the first thing Frostkit noticed. She had only been outside the nursery a few times and never outside of camp. Looking around she took in the world with her crystal blue eyes. She was excited to go on an adventure, but she was also afraid. Wherever they were going seemed like a long ways away to her. She stayed close to the other kits and the queens padding along as fast as she could to keep up. Starting to feel tired she stumbled slightly over her paws and gave a surprised squeak. Looking around embarrassed she hoped no one noticed.
Tripping had definitely woken her up however, and she was more careful of where she put her paws. As the wind picked up she fluffed out her short coat to try and stay warm. Pausing she shivered and looked around for Whitefire. She had momentarily lost sight of her mother and in the mass of cats from her clan she couldn't spot the white queen. Frostkit could feel panic creep into her but she tried to look calm. "Mom?" she mewed but it came out barely louder than a whisper. Walking forward again she tried to stay out from under other cats feet as she looked for Whitefire, but seemed hesitant and unsure. Maybe she's with Rushingkit, she thought. She should have paid better attention. But this was her clan, she had nothing to worry about. Right? They wouldn't leave her behind. She knew that. But she also knew she was small and in the large move, she thought, she could accidentally fall behind if she wasn't with her mother.
