Pikepaw kneading his claws anxiously into the ground, feeling anxious. He knew that Fallenstar would be leading them away from camp soon, and he still wasn't sure how he felt about it. The tabby knew that he should trust his leader, but he couldn't help but feel sad about leaving his home behind. Pikepaw shook his head, trying to push these thoughts away. He should enjoy his home territory while he still had the chance.
The tom's gaze caught on a she-cat he didn't think he'd seen around camp before. "Hi," he mewed, mindlessly walking up Minnowfin . He could use some company. "I'm Pikepaw," the apprentice flicked his tail towards the camp entrance, "there's some streams up by the RockClan that are still frozen, wanna join me for some ice sliding?" He smiled hopefully.

minnowfin's hazel eyes widened and she let out a small 'hm' sound when another cat approached her and introduced themselves. the turned towards them and smiled, "well, s'nice to meet you then, pikepaw," she purred, "i'm minnowfin," she introduced herself shortly.
the tabby looked towards the entrance and smiled, "i'd love to join you," she grinned, taking one step forwards, "race ya' there?"

Pikepaw's ears perked up as the she-cat, Minnowfin she had introduced herself as, agreed to join him. Being stuck in camp had begun to get dreary, and it was exciting to spend some time away from camp without having to occupy his thought with training. Although, he figured that he should be relishing in his training while he can; he knew that he was bound to receive his final assessment soon. Thornfrost had said so.
The blue-gray tom grinned as Minnowfin suggested a race. He wasn't particularly fast, but he still believed it could be fun. "Okay!" the tabby chirped, wondering if he should count down or if the warrior wanted to.

minnowfin grinned widely at pikepaw's chirp, bending her striped legs as she got ready to run, "three... two..." she lowered a little more, waiting for pikepaw to get ready before continuing to count the final number, "one... go!" and with that, the young warrior dashed away, her hazel eyes focused on the apprentice as she tried to run faster than him.

Pikepaw grinned as the warrior gave him chance to get ready. He dipped his head down slightly, tensing his muscles, and let his tabby striped tail lash excitedly. His heart leaped when Minnowfin spoke the words "go", hesitating for a second before dashing out of camp alongside her. The gray-blue tom ran with heavy, lumbering steps, but remained sure footed.

minnowfin let out a small laugh as she watched pikepaw run beside her, seeing the streams come into sight. she grinned and tried to speed up towards them, running onto one of them and sliding across it. it resulted in her falling onto her side and sliding a little, but she still laughed loudly- guess she wasn't made for running.
"so, who won?" the bright tabby asked, she hadn't been paying attention since she saw the ice come into view. minnowfin lifted up her head and shook it, eyes bright as she grinned.

Pikepaw looked to Minnowfin with a flash of worry as she slipped, but her laughing reassured him that she hadn't been injured. He fumbled a little as he brought himself to a stop, the wet fur of his paw pads making the ground slippery. "Oh!" he flushed, having not payed too close attention--lost in the fun, "I think you did," the tabby mewed with a light hearted laugh, shaking some water from his pelt.

minnowfin stuck her tongue out and smirked playfully, "well in that case, ha'" she said, laughing still as she lifted herself to her cold paws. the red tabby stared at the ice in concentration as she tried to move around on the ice again without slipping, "aaaanyway, pikepaw, tell me about yourself."

Pikepaw grinned, blue eyes narrowing mischievously at Minnowfin's teasing. His quickly shook out his long tabby coat in a dog-like manner, droplets of water scattering off him and onto his surroundings. He peaked his eyes open, having closed them while he was shaking out his pelt, and looked over at Minnowfin to see if he had splashed any on her, as he had planned.
The blue tabby unsheathed his claws just the slightest bit to keep him steady on the ice as he walked upon it. "Me?" he tipped his head to the side, trying to think of any interesting information about himself, "ah, well, there's not much too me, I guess?" he laughed a little at that, "I've lived nearly my whole life in IceClan, although I wasn't born here. I've had a pretty long apprenticeship, but I guess that's ending soon," he grinned with a hint of excitement, he would be getting his warrior assessment any day now, "what about you?"

minnowfin let out a playful squeal and smirked at pikepaw when he shook off his fur and splashed her with water. she didn't actually mind too much, but decided to play along anyway, flicking some off her tail tip and towards the apprentice.
minnowfin raised her brows, "that's pretty cool i guess... but surely there's more about you than that. what do you do for fun?" she asked, before answering pikepaw's similar question, "well... i was born a loner, lived life pretty normally but i guess i just didn't wanna be alone anymore and joined here instead," she shrugged, looking around at her surroundings.
