It was a wonderful spring day, the perfect, actaully. But Loki didn't notice. He was giving a dandelion a glare, and he was thinking about snapping its neck in half. He wasn't thinking about how dandelions don't have necks.
Finally, have being fed up with the dandelion, he leaped upon it and ripped its yellow head off. He spat it on the ground with disgust, before turned and hissing fiercely at something that was behind him. It was a cat. Loki slightly relaxed, but he kept his claws in the dirt and a glare on his face.

Hannah was taking her time to take in the spring day. She preferred to take her blessings as they come, since you never knew when your latest bout of misfortune was about to turn the corner.
Then she stumbled upon a young tom who was angrily shredding a small dandelion. She tilted her head, frowning a bit. It all seemed... Unnecessary, really. Then he noticed her and turned on her, spitting venom and hissing. He seemed to relax at seeing her, but he still seemed rather tense. "You don't need to be so high-strung. I don't wish you any ill will."

At the sight of the cat, Loki had relaxed, but not entirely. She then said that she meant no harm, but if he totally let down his guard, she might take that as an advantage to attach him. No, he couldn't trust her yet.
"What are you doing here?" he asked, turning a little more to face her, then retracting his claws. He was still a bit tense, so that if she did attack, he could dodge it quickly.

Hannah sighed, exasperated, as the cat refused to relax all the way. She understood the need to withhold trust in the neutral territories... But it was rather annoying at times, honestly.
"Enjoying Spring like any decent cat." She replied. It almost seemed like the tom anticipated being attacked. She had little interest in fighting for a great many rational and practical reasons. She thought fighting unnecessary generally, and it tended to generate wounds that could possibly get infected and cause more pain than necessary.

Loki gave her one more suspicious look, then sat down. She obviously possed no threat to him, so it was useless to look like he was going to attack her.
"It is a nice day," he said.

Hannah was somewhat resigned to the looks of suspicions at this point. He finally conceded and shared her opinion. That was nice, at the very least. "My name's Hannah." She said, introducing herself.
She waited for a response.

Loki never liked sharing his name right off the bat, but what does it matter, anyway? He told her, "My name is Loki."
((im not sure how i can make this any longer))

Hannah nodded. "Loki. That's unique." She commented. "Do you frequent these parts? There's many cats passing through the plains, it can be hard to tell without asking."
((Ahahah, it's fine. I get that feel rather often.))

"Mmm," Loki started. "I wouldn't say I live here. I travel these parts a lot, and my sister lives here, but I don't exactly live anywhere." He didn't mind not having a den all to himself. It would be weird to call something his own. He didn't care for something like that, at least, not yet.

Hannah noted the lack of any negative tone to Loki's voice. "Are you here for your sister?" She asked. She did live in the area... However, she tended to move dens. Rather frequently. So, she didn't exactly have a set place she'd settled down.

"Kinda, but not really. I found my sister here after I left my own clan, and decided to stay in these parts before I met her, so half and half. If she wasn't here, I'm not sure what I would do. When I got here, though, I thought she was dead." Loki wondered if he would have to tell the whole story. He didn't particularly like that, and he already felt as if he had told so many cats.

Hannah tilted her head. Loki seemed rather wary of her still, so she decided to not press. "I wasn't born in the plains. I was born to a family of loners. I might move again someday... But for now, I hope to stay in the plains. It's not a bad place to live." She meowed. She shrugged. "I have no reason to leave, and I'm familiar with the land by now." She wasn't particularly interested in talking all about herself, but she figured it would be possibly more comfortable for Loki to not divulge more of his personal details.

"Pity," Loki said, referring to the part where she said she might leave. He was getting to know nearly all the cats that lived around here, and even more beyond that. Most just thought him scary, or didn't know what to think of him. That was totally alright with him. He didn't expect anyone to trust him much.
"So you know this land well?" he asked. He knew it nearly inside and out. He had wandered around it many times, going from the canyon to Deathclan to the kittypet territories to the clan borders. Nothing stopped him from venturing.

Hannah shrugged. "I suppose from one perspective." She conceded. She didn't believe her life to be pitiful. Her life was comfortable for her. She supposed many cats struggled with who they were and how they lived. She'd long since come to terms with her own life. Perhaps a meaningful relationship would complicate things... But for now she was alone.
She was fine with that, she never knew a strong connection with another... So there was nothing to miss.
She nodded. "Yes, I believe so. I know nothing of its history, but I can navigate these lands comfortably." She confirmed. She was young and hadn't been speaking to many others, preferring to watch from afar.

Loki nodded. "Well, that's really all you need to know," he said. He could navigate well through the land, too. He wondered, however, how he would do in the canyon. He had once navigated his way through the caves, but only got out because he was shown the way. He probably would've gotten out alone.
