scorpionkit's eyes widened as he stay sat in the corner of the nursery, his grey-green gaze and ears focused on one particular kit. he loved doing this, observing other cats- it was a nice way for him to get to know others without having to actually speak to them. the particular cat he was looking at was a small black kitten whom he had never met before.

however, as scorpionkit watched the other cat, his eyes accidentally met theirs. he flattened his ears and tried to make it look like he hadn't been spying.

Beetlekit had been curled up in her nest, her tail beating the soft moss gently. She always did this when she wanted to sleep, she found that the rhythm made her sleepy. Just as she was dozing, the fur on her spine began to prickle. She quickly turned around, her amber eyes locking on grey-green eyes. She observed them for a few moments longer, almost disappointed when he looked away. His eye colour was very interesting, she had never seen anything like it, atleast not in Rockclan. "Hello." She called out quietly, unsure. He had been staring at her, though for now she let that slide.

scorpionkit let out a tiny whine when the cat who he had been watching noticed him. he tried to hide himself in his tail, "umm..." he said softly, pale eyes blinking. it was only one cat, he tried to reassure himself- there were no crowds thankfully, so the young tom thought he should be safe.

Beetlekit let her head drop to the left in confusion, slightly amused. "'Umm' what?" She challenged, though her voice held no malice, only curiosity. He was certainly odd.
