Honeyfur did not expect Oceanstar to assign him an apprentice so soon, but it did in a way make sense. And to mentor his own younger sister? The medicine cat found that to be an interesting idea. The tom was unfortunately not present during the ceremony, but he did manage to receive word of the news. Today, he would get to know Plumpaw and show her around the territory. Maybe even show her a thing or to in regards to herbs!
"Plumpaw? Are you up?" he called into the den.

Plumpaw snuggled deeper into her nest. It was so early! "I don't wanna get up," she mumbled, not bothering to open up her eyes. She had lined her nest with lavenders the previous day, the gentle scent made it easier to sleep without the warmth of her littermates--but it also made it hard to get herself awake in the mornings.
