He should've seen it growing up, when Gray got all the attention and their father just scolded little Raven for everything he did. Cali had always been there to help, and so had their mother. Calista, sensing the change, made her way quickly to Loki, or at least closer. "It's alright. She's only dead." she said, meaning to be comforting but ending up rolling her eyes at herself. "We'll both see her again."

Loki smiled at Cali. Yes, they would see her again, in Valhalla. At least, Cali would. Loki wondered if he would be allowed to go there. He bet he would, since their mother was there. She would make them let him in.

Calli tilted her head to the side. "Not for a while though I hope. Maybe in our sleep she'll come to us sometimes...."

"That would be nice," Loki said, before directing his full attention back to Cali. "I don't think you spent the energy to track me down just to say don't go back home and talk about mom. What else did you want to say?"

Calista shook her head. "Just to say not to go home." she said, shrugging though her wide eyes clearly showed how much the dreams had gotten to her. The dreams in which... she cut off the thought trail before it could force her to remember them.

Loki gave Cali a soft glance when she regained her troubled look. He bent close to her face and looked into her eyes. "You know I'll always be here for you," he said with a kind smile. That was more than their older brother could say.

Calli nodded, though for all the times she had heard the words they weren't true. Sure maybe half of them were brought on herself, but they still were rarely true. Tears stung her eyes slightly, but she pulled them back before Loki could see them. She needed to be strong for Loki, and she could. Even if she couldn't, she would.

Loki smiled again and leaned back, casting his gaze out to the forest. "I heard rumors that the Deathclan leader was about to switch," he said. He wasn't sure if it was true or not.

Calista's eyes widened. Her den was close to Deathclan territory. She didn't live here, but she lived closeness enough that a leader change could effect her. "Thanks corn warning me."

Loki smiled. "What am I here for?" he asked. He was suppose to look out for his little sister as his little sister looked out for him.

Calista's mouth opened slightly, but she couldn't even find the words to explain, even the one part she did know, so she closed her mouth and just shook her head.

Loki again looked over at the forest, wondering about who the next leader would be. Suddenly, an idea popped in his head.

Calista watched Loki's face and noticed instantly when he had an idea. "What?" she half groaned.

Loki grinned at her groan. "Don't you like my ideas?" he asked sarcastically. "Its a good one."
