Calista rolled her eyes but nodded to tell him he should go on.

Chasity rolled her eyes and shook her head. "A she-cat named Rose is running for the spot, and I already swore to her there is no way I am joining a new clan."

Loki raised his nonexistent eyebrows. "So you know more than I do," he said, a little surprised, though he shouldn't be. Her den was so close to the border, she nearly lived within the territory.

Chasity shrugged. "It doesn't matter what I know about them. I'm never going to join another clan. I've had bad experience with to many types." she said, not really meaning to say the last part. It implied she had experience with other clans, which Loki hadn't known. At least, not to the point that she ment. Maybe he would take only to mean the clans he knew about... or maybe not.

Loki raised his brows even further, a surprised look on his face. "You were in another clan?" he asked, amazed. He never thought of joining another clan. He wondered what it was like.

Calista giggled slightly. "Who said I was in another clan? I just said ive had had experiences with clans. Which you have to. In our home there was two much war."

Loki remember that. There was lots, and lots, and lots of fighting. As soon as a kit opened their eyes, they were taught to fight. Or at least, thats what it seemed like. But their father seemed to like it that way. He wanted peace, yet he earned that peace through constant war.

Calista shook her head. "Those times are beyond us though. It bodes us both well to forget them."

"Right..." Loki said, as if he wasn't exactly there.

Calista bit her lip. "I'm sorry, I had to reason to hunt you down, I should have trusted my earlier warning to be enough, but you can't go there now. I don't want to lose you too," she said, her voice catching as she spoke.

Loki's gaze softened, and he looked at his sister. "Its okay, you won't lose me," he said with a smile. The only cat who had ever really beat him in a battle was his brother, and around three or four warriors would only probably be able to kill him. Maybe he was just overly confident.

Calista shook her head. He had no idea how many times she already had, in dreams or in memories. She told him something along those lines, though she wasn't sure quite what. Maybe, "I already have. Dreams and memories meld into life and I don't want to lose you again,"? She really wasn't sure, the words were spoken from a pain deep inside her and she had trouble focusing on reality when she indulged in it.

Loki sat back slowly, becoming quiet. He looked at the ground with a furrow in his brow and thought this over. So, she thought that if he returned to their home, he would die. That was a scary thought to think about.

Calista bit her tounge hard as she forced herself to leave that pain that was so harsh and yet provided a sort of comfort at the same time. Drawing in a deep, shaky breath she shook her head and changed the subject. "So how many cats have you met?"
