SparkpawChasity walked mindlessly thtough an open plain. She was dangerously close to crossing a Fireclan border, which she had no clue to as she didn't know that clans exsisted. She also had no clue another cat was nearby, whether they were making noise or not. She had no hearing capacity if she wasn't paying attention, and she wasn't.

Sparkpaw's pelt was dusty from hunting. He had been giving the borders a once-over when he spotted the she-cat. He was a little on edge about strangers, considers the issue with FireClan's new borders--still, this she-cat didn't look particuarly hostile, and Sparky was always one to give the benefit of the doubt.
"Hello!" the orange apprentice called out, making sure to stay on the FireClan side of the borders. The blinked when he realized how weak the scent was. Maybe she hasn't smelled the scent marks yet. "I'm Sparkpaw," he waited to see if the she-cat would come any closer.

Chasity didn't hear most of what Sparkpaw said, only looking up and noticing him in time to hear the past part of his name, which was apparently paw. What kind of name ended with paw? Maybe she had read the cat's lips wrong? She made her way over to where the cat was to adress further. "I'm sorry, I didn't catch that, something about a paw?" she asked, eyebrow creased. "Oh, and I'm Chasity by the way."

Sparkpaw chuckled, glad the she-cat moved closer so he didn't have to cross the border to be heard, "ahh, I was just giving my name--Sparkpaw," he grinned, remaining on his paws so that he could jump into a defensive position if she suddenly changed her demeanor. He was a rather trusting tom, but the trouble with the newly-claimed RockClan border had made him a bit skeptical of outsiders. "Chastity?" he shook his head, smiling, "I'll never get used to non-clan names, they sound so... I don't know? I think lacking is the right word--not that it's not a pretty name though!"

Chasity tilted her head. So the other cat's name did end in paw. She kept her attention on his next words though so she could hear them. Then she asked her question. "What's a clan?"
