SparkpawBrightwing was looking to speak with someone. An apprentice, specifically. Sparkpaw. She didn't really want to confront Firewasp about her accusations, due to the ginger warrior's... Personality. She honestly had a hard time telling if Firewasp was actually being antagonistic at times... Plus, on the tour Sparkpaw had seemed fine around her. So, she figured she'd talk to the reasonable cat flinging accusations first. Besides, of the secondary accusation aimed specifically at her... She had a pretty good idea of how it came about. Aloepaw likely talked to Sparkpaw while he was injured... And neglected to tell the young apprentice exactly who had attacked him. She was still relatively sure it was her sister, Willowspirit. Suddenly she became uncomfortable, should she have rat out her sister to Oceanstar? Should she still...? No. She wouldn't. It... It was fine. It'd be fine. Oceanstar could understand, right? She didn't want to make things even harder to work with the spirit of teamwork in the clan. She cleared her throat roughly, as she looked around camp for Sparkpaw. Then she spotted him, coming out of the apprentice's den. She dashed over to him, her fur was a bit messy from lack of grooming. "Hey... Sparkpaw? Can I talk to you?"

Sparkpaw jumped as a cat approached him. He still hadn't talked with Oceanstar about his issues with Swanfrost--or, well, technically they were Firewasp's issues with Swanfrost, but he had weaseled his way into the situation as well, somehow. He wasn't good at keeping secrets though, and although this wasn't exactly a secret, he still felt guilty for not immediately going to Oceanstar. It was making him a little jumpy.
"Oh, um," he turned, surprised to face Brightwing. His face went slack for a few seconds before he shook his head, a gentle expression settling upon his face. He was a little apprehensive, but he had told Swanfrost that he wanted to talk with Brightwing; he assumed that was why the warrior was approaching him. "Of course," he mewed, not quite his peppy self but it was still easy to tell that he wasn't upset or discomforted by the warrior's presence.

Brightwing seemed relax ever so slightly, at Sparkpaw's relative ease with her presence. So, he didn't fear her or think she was gross or something. He didn't strike her as the type to be able to mask his emotions to make that the wrong answer. Nothing against Sparkpaw, it simply meant he was more honest. Didn't have baggage to hide like she did. Didn't have that constant fear that someone would see right through you and decide they didn't like what they saw.
She sighed. "So... I'm just going to cut to the chase... First off... I'm going to get the easier topic out of the way. I didn't attack Aloepaw. It was likely my sister Willowspirit, but you'd have to ask her if you wanted to be sure. Just... Don't mention my name and she might answer you." She waited for that to sink in before speaking again. "Secondly... I never laid a claw on your friend, Firewasp. I don't know what she's talking about, but while my words towards her may not have always been the kindest... I never hurt her. The only times I met her were when I was cleaning the nursery as a kit and at my ceremony. It's been moons since she was a kit, any wounds inflicted them would've been noticed far sooner and they would've healed by now. I had no opportunity to attack her at my ceremony. Plenty of ample witnesses for you to ask."

Sparkpaw's eyes widened in surprise as Brightwing brought up Aloepaw, not expecting her to talk about him so suddenly. Willowspirit? he knew her! The two had just met the other day. She had seemed a bit... off. Although, admittedly, he had been a bit distracted by the conversation topic. I'll have to talk with her again... he thought, deciding not to comment. He wasn't too sure what he would say anyway.
He was even more surprised to hear her words on Firewasp. "Has she been telling people you've attacked her?" the orange apprentice mewed in surprise, "recetnly, I mean," his eyes narrowed a bit, "I know that a.... thing happened between you guys when she was in the nursery," he tried to be vague, since it had been a long time since Firewasp had talked to him about her troubles with Brightwing. He tipped his head to the side when Brightwing brought up her ceremony, "your ceremony...?" He, an almost comically confused expression settling upon his face.

Brightwing had clearly taken Sparkpaw by surprise with her admittedly blunt explanation on what transpired from her. She figured at the best, the apprentice would've expected an easing into the rather... Hard topics to speak about. That wasn't really Brightwing's style, since no one ever really tried to sugarcoat anything for her, she found no reason to do it either. Besides, she valued honesty.
She nodded. "Yeah. According to your friend... Swanfrost and I tried to gut her." She flattened her ears. "Yes, this is recent. She was in the medicine cat's den recently, right? Well, there she implicated me and Swanfrost as the cause for why her injuries were so bad." She explained. She rolled her eyes. "The 'thing' in the nursery... Was me, as an apprentice, trying to clean it quickly and then leaving. I didn't want to talk to Firewasp, Firekit then, and tried to leave. She tried to follow me out of camp, so I snapped at her a bit. I'll admit, I probably should've been nicer to her. But that isn't big enough reason to start spreading lies that could get me exiled." She stared at Sparkpaw. "... How much does this 'friend' of your's tell you again?" She asked, annoying, her eye twitching a bit. "I saw her again at my warrior ceremony. That was the second time I ever talked to her. She immediately started insulting Swanfrost, so I went to my friend's defense. Nothing else happened then. I haven't even seen Firewasp since."
