((.... The title has nothing to do with anything other than the actual weather where i live. Spring no longer exists where I live, and if it does... It exists for maybe... A week. Or less. A fraction in here... Another fraction a month later....))
Crystalbird was quietly eating a mouse by the fresh-kill pile, as she thought about the state of affairs in Treeclan. The clan was divided into rebels and loyalists. One side led by Yellowburr, the other by herself, and Arrowstar. Said leader wanted to do an awful lot of things that she didn't approve of. Moving the loyalists away from the rebels. Sending a spy to find out what the rebels were thinking. Not show up to ceremonies he should be doing! Personally, she thought he could be doing a better job of proving to the rebels that he honestly cared about Treeclan.
So far, she was pretty sure the rebels thought that the clan's leadership was actively trying to either sabotage them or were simply straight up incompetent. She wasn't sure which was more insulting, honestly. Hadn't she proved herself as a member of Treeclan, yet?! She lived here. She had been living here! She came to Treeclan some seven moons ago, and she'd proved herself in that time. What was it going to take?! Dying in Treeclan's name?! In that case, it didn't matter what she did because if she had to die, well... Nothing would ever happen to her again, after that.
She pulled herself out of her thoughts, and looked beside her to see someone had joined her. As she'd been... Maybe brooding a little, she'd probably came off a little grumpy. "Did you need something?" Her voice could've been friendlier, as well.
