minnowfin purred nervously as she made her way over to the apprentices den. she couldn't believe that after having only been a member of the clan for a few moons, she was trusted to train an apprentice. she grinned at the thought and stuck her head into the den, whispering, "mintpaw!" she whisper-shouted, "training, come on.'

Mintpaw sleepily raised her head, surprised. She hadn't had training for a while, and it was weird to wake up early. Suddenly, she hoped onto her paws quickly and looked around, excited. She spotted her new mentor, Minnowfin, a bright red cat, and padded over with a smile. "Hi," she whispered.

[Minnowfin]

minnowfin offered her new apprentice, mintpaw, a smile, "hi," she greeted in return, "go get something to eat quickly and then we'll be off," she purred, slowly making her way towards the camp exit where she would wait for mintpaw to finish.

Mintpaw padded away in a flash, rushing to the fresh kill pile and grabbing a small mouse. She scarfed it down and padded quickly over to her mentor again, a toothy smile on her face. She swished her fluffy tail with excitement as she came closer.

[Minnowfin]

minnowfin grinned when mintpaw finished and began making her way out of camp, "okay, so today were just going to be going out and looking at the borders and landmarks, then if there's time we can see what you already know in preparation for our next session," the tabby explained, making her way towards the first border- treeclan.

"so right now you'll see we're entering the bluebell copse, make sure to have a good look around as we're nearing the first border."

Mintpaw padded along with her new mentor, curious and excited. She liked the bluebell copse, and thought it kinda pretty, and she was curious to see the tree clan border. She had been out here once before, in the middle of the night, with her friend.

[Minnowfin]

minnowfin smiled as she glanced towards mintpaw before back in front of her, where she began to see a range of rocks and trees. "come on, we're about there now," she said, speeding up a little to look around at the surroundings, jumping onto a rather large stone.

"this is the treeclan border," she introduced the area, "more specifically, it's the stone forest, and like you've probably guessed separates us from them." minnowfin then started to give more information, "the border often moves around a lot and it's pretty likely for trees to fall down around here, but i wouldn't worry about that." she paused.

"what do you already know about treeclan?"

Mintpaw gave a grand smile as they came up upon the tree clan border, and she turned to her mentor to answer the asked question. "Well, I know they are excellent tree climbers." She gave a toothy grin.

[Minnowfin]

minnowfin grinned back, nodding, "that's correct, treeclanners are built for climbing as it helps them reach branches, like squirrels," she purred, "their leader is called arrowstar, and their deputy is a cat called crystalbird," she introduced the two highest ranks.

"take a quick sniff of the border and then we'll be off to the rockclan border. we do not border fireclan," she said, heading in the direction of the next border.

Mintpaw nodded and sniffed the air, taking in the different scent of Treeclan. Then, she turned and followed her mentor to Rockclan. "Are the whispers and rumors true of Rockclan?"

[Minnowfin]

minnowfin nodded as they walked, "the rumors that they are moving? yes, they are true," she continued, "the rocks are no longer owned by anyone, but i know those greedy fireclanners can't wait to get their little runner paws on it," she said, twitching an ear as the two bard the next border.

"this is the waterfall,' she introduced the area, making her way towards one of the flat stones that led across the waterfall and into the rocky territory. "this is the old rockclan territory here," she purred, "although i suppose going over and getting a closer look wouldn't hurt as long as we stay on these rocks."

"anyway, what do you already know about rockclan?"

-all the new landmarks and borders they've added in makes territory tours so much more interesting and i love it-

Mintpaw looked around, intrigued. She knew nearly nothing of Rockclan, so she started guessing. "Umm, are they good at digging?" She was especially interested in the dusty, homeless landscape. It was probably a bit dangerous, with loners and rogues hanging around any rock.

-i didn't mean for this to be so late-

minnowfin nodded, with a smile, "that's right, they are," she smiled, "their leaders are called cloverstar and redfern," she informed, turning back around towards their own territory and mader her way towards a hollow rock.

"this is the hollow rock, it's been here many moons and some cats say that a cat called molenose dug it to escape cloudclan's judgement... but honestly i think it's a load of crap," she told mintpaw, flicking an ear.

Mintpaw turned with Minnowfin to the Hollow Rock, and perked her ears at the story. "Why do you think that?" she asked. She thought the story was pretty cool.

[Minnowfin]

minnowfin shrugged, "to be honest, i just think the whole cloudclan stuff is fake," she said nonchalantly, yet flicked an ear and turned to gaze at mintpaw, "don't tell anyone i said that, though."

she swished her tail and began to make her way up the cliffs and mountain, eyes searching around, "come on, we've only got two more places to go now before we can go back to camp," minnowfin said, waiting for the crashed plane to come into sight.
