Loki hissed as claws grabbed him and pulled him over. As the two were falling, he tried to reach his neck around to bite her in the side.

Squirrelbite hissed in pain as his teeth sunk into her thin fur, breaking the skin. She started to pummel him with her unsheathed hind-paws, aiming for his soft underbelly.

Loki winced as her claws scraped against his foreleg and hit his belly, and he tried pushing her away, down a short hill, as he leaped out of her reach. Once he landed, he looked down at his leg to see blood dripping from it. His belly hadn't been too wounded, and it wasn't bleeding, but he would have a scratch for a bit. The front of his leg might, by chance, scar.
Loki stood away from her and watched her, eyes narrowed and black fur standing on end. His held a scowl.

Squirrelbite rolled a few tail-lengths away before getting back on her paws, her breathing heavy as she looked Loki over. They were both bleeding, and she didn't think that this fight was really going anywhere. "Do you wanna call it a draw?" She asked, tilting her head to the side. Squirrelbite didn't feel like leaving quite yet, though, there were still plenty of things they could do.

Loki dropped his shoulders and eased his fur as she asked him if they were finished. His face dropped into a straight line, and he looked down at the two slashed on his foreleg again. "Do you think it'll scar?" he asked, slightly sounding like a pitiful kit, before adding, "It won't matter if it does."
Loki then looked up at her and asked, "Are you alright?"

Squirrelbite padded closer to Loki, inspecting his wound carefully for a moment before speaking. "It might." She admitted, feeling a bit bad but not regretful. "Maybe not if you treat it properly.. I can't take you to our medicine cat, so do you have any knowledge of herbs?" Squirrelbite asked, being oddly gentle with him.
"Oh, I'm fine." Squirrelbite brushed off his question with ease. Her shoulder wound had re-opened and was bleeding a bit, and blood was soaking through the spot on her side where he'd bit her, but she wasn't bothered by it. Liongrowl could treat her when she got back to camp.

Loki shook his head. "I don't know anything of herbs, except that cobwebs stop bleeding. My sister has more knowledge than me, in that area." He smiled, and remembered how she had treated his shoulder wound. She had learned that from their mother.
"You're bleeding, maybe I can find something to stop it," he winked, intentionally trying to sound like a medicine cat, though he barely knew any herbs or how to treat much.
((he can be solicitous at times XD))

Squirrelbite rolled her eyes, though it was good-hearted in nature, and she found herself appreciating his kindness. Hopefully it didn't turn out to be a ruse and she wouldn't have to kill him, but one could never be sure. "Alright then, let's find some cobwebs." Squirrelbite began to walk, doing her best not to show pain in her expression.
"It's really a shame that you're not in TreeClan," Squirrelbite began absentmindedly, flicking her tail. "We could use more cats who aren't total mouse-brains."

Loki smiled at her hidden complement as he bagan walking side by side with her, looking out for cobwebs. He merely shrugged, then began to explain. "I don't really do clans, or at least, not anymore. Maybe one day I will return to one, but I don't think it will be here. Clans always have useless drama that I don't enjoy."
Loki sighed, being reminded of his own home clan. If he had any chance to return, he would take it. It was his rightful home, and his brother had no right to kick him out. But when Loki was kicked out, his brother was, as well. So at least that but Loki's mind at ease.
He looked around, and spotted a few cobwebs. "Over here," he said to Squirrelbite.

"That's true." Squirrelbite admitted, looking around the trees to see if she could find any hollowed out spaces where cobwebs would be. "TreeClan in particular has a lot of issues, though they could be solved fairly easily if someone were to take action." She didn't go into detail, doubting that Loki cared about clan politics.
Hearing him call out, Squirrelbite turned around, padding over and examining the cobwebs that he'd found. She reached forward, taking a swab onto her paw and looking at Loki. "Show me your leg?"

Loki smiled, amusef. "You're worse off than me," he said, gesturing to her side. He took what little was left of the cobwebs and placed them awkwardly on her side, knowing she would most likely protest if he asked permission. Once he was done, he looked at her with an extremely amused look. "It's good I'm not a medicine cat." Then he gave her his leg.

"It's not that bad..." Squirrelbite grumbled, though she reluctantly held still, allowing for him to apply the cobweb. At least she was saving Liongrowl the trouble of using his own supplies, as long as the wound didn't become infected.
Eager to get her own opportunity to be helpful, Squirrelbite reached forward, plastering the deep scratch in cobweb and ensuring that it wasn't going to fall apart before relaxing. "Is this where we say goodbye again?" She asked, her eyes glimmering.

Loki shrugged. "I guess so, if you want to." He had nowhere else to be, but Squirrelbite would sooner or later be missed by someone. Patrols might come out looking for her, and so it was safer to say bye now. "What excuse did you give to get out of camp?"

"Oh, I just left. No one really keeps track of each-other, and I won't be scrutinized as long as I bring back prey." Squirrelbite explained, wondering passively what it would be like to be in a clan where cats actually cared about one another's whereabouts. She hesitated before speaking again, the words on the tip of her tongue. Asking to meet up with him again would make Squirrelbite look a bit desperate, she thought.

Loki nodded, a little envious. "I never got to leave without someone noticing." It had been annoying, when walking toward the entrance 'where are you going?' Or heading out to the forest from a different way, 'what are you doing?'
Loki then turned a little, knowing that it was probably goodbye, at least, for now. He looked at her, and noted the silent question. "Are you going to ask me when I'll be back around here?" he teased.
