Loki Squirrelbite hadn't been entirely sure what Loki's answer meant, but she didn't want to make herself look mouse-brained by asking for clarification. She assumed that the 'purple sky' meant sunset or sunrise, and the stars were usually brightest when the moon wasn't visible.
During sunset on the night of the new moon, Squirrelbite returned to the border where she had met the rogue. Her shoulder wound had healed quite nicely, and hopefully tonight she would be the one to give him scars.
She sat down, her tail curling over her paws, waiting patiently to see if she'd unraveled his riddle correctly.

Loki had come to the Treeclan (right?) border just as he had promised, at sunset on the night of the full moon. He looked up into the sky, stars shining overhead and guiding his way. He always liked the stars.
As he neared the border, his eyes spotted the bright red coat of a clan cat. However, he had met this clan cat before, and neared her without hesitation. "So I see you figured it out," Loki said with a smile.

"I think I'm more clever than you give me credit for." Squirrelbite mewed with a purr, standing up and stretching, her long tail waving in the cool evening air. "Most cats tend to underestimate me, though." Crystalbird, Yellowburr, Arrowstar, her parents.. The list went on and one.
Squirrelbite licked her lips, dying to tell him a specific bit of information. "I'm a warrior now." She announced, her eyes shining.

Loki raised surprised eyebrows. That was quite an achievement, for a clan cat. "What should I call you now?" he asked, half teasing. He, too, had been over excited at the recieval of his warrior name. "I was once Ravenblaze. Your the first cat I've met here to know that."

"Squirrelbite." She stated with a shiver of delight, her expression calm besides for her blazing eyes. It was nice to know that Arrowstar had noticed her fighting skills and wit enough to name her in honor of those traits.
She blinked, tilting her head to the side. "Ravenblaze, huh? Sounds pretty fitting, what do you go by now?" Squirrelbite didn't ask him about his past, understanding that if the black tom wanted to share more about himself, then he would.

"Squirrelbite, very fitting," Loki said with a smile. It was a nice name, he though to himself, but he wouldn't say it outloud.
"Loki," he nodded with satisfaction. "It was a nickname my parents used to call me, so it seemed fiting."

"Nice to meet you, Loki." Squirrelbite nodded, starting to get a bit restless. She hadn't come out here to talk, after all, and they both knew that.
"So," The red she-cat paced. "What are we going to do today? Spar again?" Her claws unsheathed. "I've been practicing."
((where'd my muse go ;A;))

"I'm sure you have," Loki said as he unsheathed his claws and paced with her. They went in a circle, before he suddenly and quickly darted in to knock her off balance. He was testing her defensive skills.

She watched with narrow eyes, her muscles tensed and ready for when he attacked her. Squirrelbite was light on her paws, stepping out of the way before trying to ram her head into his side, trying to off-balance him.

Loki stumbled to the side with a smile. She had gotten better. Well, that means he had to get better as well. The game was on, and his brain switched to warrior mode. He used to confuse the brain of his enemies while fighting them, through words and moves. Plus, he had an advantage, it was getting dark. He suddenly ducked into a shadow, out of sight. He closed his eyes and imagined where Squirrelbite would be, just as Sky had taught him to do. He stepped lightly and circled her on paws of air.
Suddenly, he sprang from the darkness, aiming to place a bite on her shoulder (other one) and pin her down from the back. It was a little mean, springing into her back, but if she was as good as she said, she would duck and roll away from his attack.

Squirrelbite had developed a bit of an odd style of fighting, and she was letting that show as she fought. She waited patiently for Loki to re-emerge from the shadows, knowing that with her red pelt, pulling off the same trick would be next to impossible.
Seeing movement from the same area Loki had disappeared into, Squirrelbite knew she could try to dodge, but she instead dropped into a crouch, allowing him to spring onto her back. She wanted to try the trick that he had described the last time they met, but never got to actually attempt. Twisting her head back, Squirrelbite tried to bite down on his fore-paw and then heave him off of her and quickly dart out from under him.

Loki smiled as he noticed he had successfully pinned her down. But before he was able to do anything, she tried biting at her arm and he quickly snapped it back, away from her mouth, which put most his weight on his hide legs. He was then surprised to be thrown off and see her dart away. He smiled, "That was very good!"
He leaped back onto his paws gracefully, and swished his tail as he circled around her. His muscles were tense, ready to dodge any attack she threw.

"Thanks!" Squirrelbite practically glowed, her eyes bright. She hadn't been expecting to pull off the move correctly, but it seemed that Squirrelbite was a natural fighter, learning much more quickly than she did with hunting or tree-climbing.
She circled him cautiously, her long tail flicking back and forth as she planned her next move. Her eyes narrowed, Squirrelbite started to go in for his right side, then pulled back, aiming to rake her unsheathed claws down his chest.

Loki saw her attack coming. He feinted to his left side to avoid her attack on his right side, but then she pulled a trick move that he nearly missed. As he was turning to the left, he also pulled back nearly out of reach of her claws, but they still nicked his chest and a small line of blood appeared on his fur. He smiled, "There aren't many to can trick me."
He turned swiftly, remembering that he had given her a bite mark scar on her shoulder. He turned the other side and tried raming into her, to throw her off balance and she would possibly land on the scar. It would hurt, but not too much.
((im running out of moves XD))

"I'm not just any cat." Squirrelbite mewed, her whiskers twitching as a few droplets of blood clung to her long, sturdy claws. Once again she prepared herself for a counter-attack, and as Loki tried to ram his head into her injured shoulder, Squirrelbite attempted to jump out of the way, but he still managed to hit her.
Hissing in pain, the warrior staggered back, struggling to keep her balance. She lashed out with her claws, trying to get a grip on his fur and drag him down with her.
