@fallensong After Willowspirit had pointed out the Treeclan border Hickorypaw had wanted to explore it for herself. Oceanstar had mentioned at one point wanting to claim the whole of the Sun Stones for himself and she was interested in knowing why. The weather was quite warm as well since leafbare was fading. That made a perfect situation to test out the rocks for herself.
Hickorypaw leaped upon one of the rocks on her side of the border, brushing her plumed tail over its surface. It was gently warm and she offered a purr of comfort before a stick snapping in the distance caught her attention. "Who's there?" She demanded warily, fluffing her shoulder fur.

Fallenpaw just wanted to scream into a tree, but that wasn't an option, so she decided to go on a walk instead. In this whole civil war, or at least the beginning of one,r no one, simply no one, was capable of making logical decisions. There were two clear sides, the Loyalists and the Rebels, and she supported the rebels ideas, but didn't trust that their leader had the right intentions in leading the revolt. So she stayed loyal. It was easier to defend than to attack. But still, no one was capable of seeing logic. Loyalists defended their ideas solely by claiming Loners needed their help, and the reasons that Rebels gave were logical in no way.
She found herself walking along the Treeclan border, the sunning rocks. So focused on her thoughts she didn't notice she stepped on a stick or that there was another cat until they spoke. When they did, though, Fallenpaw turned sharply and her fur bristled. She was not in the mood to talk to anyone, she didn't even know if she could hold herself together long enough to, much less someone outside the clan.

Hickorypaw's eyes snapped to the stranger when they stepped forward. She noticed they didn't reply to her question and eyed them warily. They were either rude or hostile, if not both. By not claiming themselves to be non-threatening, the logical thing was to assume they were dangerous. She flicked her ears back slightly and stepped towards the border.
"Move along, I don't want trouble," she called, waving her tail in a direction away from the border. The new apprentice tried to sound confident but really didn't think she'd be a match for the large cat. She had to protect Fireclan.

Fallenpaw had turned to walk away, however when the other cat told her to leave, that was to much. She turned sharply and growled as she spoke, "Why?" she snarled, narrowing her eyes. She honestly would have normally tried to be nice in her words or tone, but she wanted to scream at the moment, which she couldn't without drawing the attention of cats in her own clan which she didn't want. It would completely destroy the mask she put on that she didn't care, that she was everybody's friend. Suddenly she wondered if a real fight was just what she really needed. She doubted it though.

Hickorypaw scoffed at the question. "Are you daft? Because I just said 'Move along, I don't want trouble'. So are you asking why I don't want trouble or why you should move along, because I already answered one of those questions and the other is idiotic." She normally wasn't quite so snide but stupidity was rarely something she tolerated for a long time Being on the border also made her more tense and her tail flicked nervously as she waited.
