"What was your old friends name?" She questioned slowly, as if talking to a kitten. Sky was stalling now, trying to figure him out.

| W inter knew the cat was stalling, but he still went with it, trying to get back to his main point. "Her name was Adder. She was a loner, I don't think you would've ever met her, but she had heard many things about you, and told me about you, as well."

"Ahh." Sky nodded, ears flicking casually. She still didn't beleive him. Sky stood, hoping he had forgotten all about his question. It was a test of sorts. He would call her back to ask again if someone had truly sent him. If he didn't, it must have really just been a fateful meeting. "Well, I'll see you around then." She turned, beginning to walk away.

| W inter's ears flattened as she started to walk away, but he wouldn't push. "I wasn't done with you," he murmured to himself, half hoping that she would overhear him. He stood up, and flicked his tail with an annoyed expression on his face.

Sky's sensitive ears easily picked up what he had said, though she continued walking as if she hadn't heard a thing.

| W inter growled deep in his throat as he slashed his tail, extremely annoyed. He wasn't sure what he was going to tell Belladonna, but he guessed he wouldn't return to her until he got an answer from the calico. Maybe asking for it straightforward next time was a better idea, instead of beating around the bush.
