Jordan flinched. "I mean... Not every cat wants to do that. I don't." He offered. "If you met my friends, they wouldn't either." He said, actually sounding confident in his statement.

oki closed his eyes and exhaled slowly, his gaze soft as he met Jordan's again. "All my friends (are heathens xD) are gone," he explained, trying to tell Jordan what he had been going through. He wasn't sure why he vented on this cat and kept it bottled up with everyone else, but Jordan was just easier to talk to than most.

Jordan's eyes widened. "I'm sorry." His tail twitched. "I've never lost anyone, but it sounds terrible. I'm not sure what I'd do if any of my friends... Left." He was having trouble imagining a life without any of his friends. Adam. Kayla. Ian. Crane.

oki sighed. "Trust no one. Anyone can betray anyone," he said. He found that those words became more and more true by the hour.

"I don't think my friends would ever betray me." Jordan answered honestly. "Well, not intentionally anyway..." He said his thoughts aloud, his mind drifting towards Ian's... Condition.

oki smiled. "I thought the same, for a while." The cat he was speaking to was younger, about the same age Loki had been when he had actually had real friends. But then again, it was hard to compare age between his brother, his sister, and himself. There wasn't really a comparison, anyway.

Jordan frowned. "I don't think my mind will change. I mean, taking a different perspective, what reason would they have? I'm not feeding any stereotypes, but usually kittypets don't really want for much that they don't already have."

oki, again, resisted the urge to give him the weirdest look. "That sounds like a boring life, not being curious enough to want something beyond what you already have." Loki wondered if that even made sense. He didn't even think he understood himself, but then again, maybe he just said it wrong. It sounded better in his head.

Jordan shrugged. "There's nothing I've wanted that I don't have. I have friends. I'm not that restricted in my freedom." He paused. Then he reluctantly admitted, "I don't pretend that I could make it in the wild, but it seems kind of cool to be able to go where you want, when you want."

oki nodded. "Yes, well. It's not always that simple." His mind ventured again back to his old home, and he longed to be there now. He wished if there was any way he could get back, he would take it.

Jordan wasn't sure what to say. He wasn't sure he understood what Loki was getting at but... The loner seemed to be a great big mystery to the kittypet. "Er, okay." He still didn't know what to say.
