L oki had been wandering around the plains, which wasn't unusual. He had been thinking about recent events. Mostly, he was thinking about his brother and sister, and their 'war' between each other. He really wanted to stay out of it, but he isn't sure how he is going to. He had some ideas. @jerrytheslime

Jordan had been out exploring the plains, venturing away from the path he knew to lead towards Jerry's Tree from his house in Twolegplace. He wasn't particularly afraid of what might be lurking in the grass.
Then he saw a familiar face, he didn't think had noticed him yet. He bit his lip. The last time he saw Loki... He had admittedly run away. He feared Loki a bit. Who wouldn't? It was a cat who killed his father without remorse, unwilling to end call it murder. It was his first encounter with such things.
Was Loki representative of why the rumors of wild cats eating kittypets came about...?

L oki continued padding through the tall grass as it flew out of the way in front of his face. His pace was brisk, but not hurried. Just as he was getting to the end of the grass, he popped out and ran into a familiar cat. It was a sudden stop, right before they collided. It took a moment for Loki to recognize the cat, and even then, it was a surprise to see him. "Jordan? What are you doing way out here?" he asked, truely surprised. It was unusual for a kittypet to wander into unfamiliar lands. Maybe this kittypet was more than a kittypet.

Suddenly, Loki popped out of the grass. Jordan's ears folded back, since there was no way that Loki hadn't seen him. The kittypet's eyes were wide and his face... Was actually a bit hard to read. It would be difficult to tell if Jordan was alright or terrified with the prospect of meeting Loki again. Though... It seemed like Loki was surprised as well.
"Well... I wanted to see what more of the plains were like. Y'know, more than the path from Twolegplace to Jerry's Tree..." He answered, somewhat unsure sounding.

L oki nodded and stepped out of his way, thinking of other things. Jordan probably didn't want to see him, and exploring was extremely uninteresting to Loki, besides adding any other boring things to that, so he just started to pad away.

Jordan watched as Loki began to walk away. He cleared his throat awkwardly. "Look, Loki... You just kind of freaked me out a bit last time. You didn't seem too bad before, and what you said was a bit... Much to say on the first meeting."
((Ahahaha this is so late I'm so sorry oml))

L oki stopped dead in his tracks and looked over his shoulder. "My apologies," he said, referring to the fright he had given Jordan. "I may not seem at all like what I am on the inside."

Jordan seemed like he wasn't really sure what to say. "You really believe that?" He asked.

L oki's eyes found the ground under him, and his eyes softened, as if he was thinking of something distant and far away. "I guess so." At the moment, he just felt as if his world was breaking away and falling apart, and in times like this, he didn't think resorting to his usual self was necessary.

Jordan hesitated. "Was... Was your father really that evil?" He asked, struggling to understand. Loki hadn't seemed even slightly violent towards him so maybe... The dark-furred tom had been doing the right thing?

L oki turned fully to Jordan. "His race did nothing but fight each other. Constant war raged, and he enjoyed watching other cats die." Loki wondered how different he really was from the large tom. He tried not to think about it, he didn't like his biological father nor talked about him much.

Jordan wasn't sure what to think. He could hardly imagine it, considering his... Hugely contrasting life experience. "Wow, uh, that sounds pretty evil." He said awkwardly. "I don't think I understand, but I think I get it a little. I think that's the best you're going to get from me. Being a house cat is... Doesn't really prepare you for hearing things like that."

L oki turned his head again so he could scrutinize the ground instead of Jordan. "I don't even think being a clan cat prepares you for anything that comes from my mouth." He met the cat's gaze again, swiftly, and took a step forward, talking with a slight bit of force behind his words. "I've been through battles and wars that no cat here can possibly imagine. I've brought down nations and built others up. I've created storms and drove them away, and still, no cat here will ever understand why I've turned out the way I am." Loki took and step back and straightened up. "They think I'm the monster queens tell their kits about at night." His eyes met Jordan's with an overpowering amount of sadness. He couldn't understand why cats feared him so much.

Jordan's ears folded back seemed a little bit... Overwhelmed by everything Loki was telling him. "Um... Remember what I said for it being much for the first meeting? You're still kind of doing it." He watched as Loki backed up a bit, and sounded a bit... Sad. He made a move to scootch ever so slightly closer to Loki. "Maybe you could sound less like you're trying to scare other cats away." He suggested.

L oki wanted to give Jordan a thwack on the head. "I let cats get close to me once, and all they did was rip me apart." If Jordan wanted to know why Loki always sounded intimidating, he just got the answer.
