WhitefirePaleheart didn't prefer to stay in camp these days, now more than ever due to the infighting. He hated the loud noises, he had even scented blood once to drop off prey. The sandy brown tom stared at his paws and sighed, forcing himself to walk onwards. He needed the exercise, Leaf-bare had made him lazy. The tom's thinking was so lost that he didn't realize he was near the Iceclan border, his bobbed tail twitched. There was another cat here, hopefully they wouldn't get too made at him for being so close. Paleheart quickly backed up and dipped his head in greeting at the other cat, too nervous to speak.

Her nose to the ground, Whitefire tilted her head slightly at the mostly rocky terrain, with several sparse trees dotting the area she was in. The queen had felt a little cooped up lately, so she had decided to go on a walk around the new territory they had moved into. She almost felt nervous, due to the rising unrest in the clan over the leadership. Shifting worriedly, the white-furred she-cat bounded a few more steps closer and slowly inhaled through her open air. Where was she again? Lifting her head to scent the area, she stiffened at the sight of a cat across the territory. The queen's whiskers twitched curiously, tickling against her white fur and giving the female the sensation that there was a wide open area around the rocks she was in. Brilliant golden eyes glinted curiously as she realized the area across the border was coated with the scent of TreeClan. She had recognized it from the previous gatherings she attended, though a cat this closeto the border was rather interesting. The tomcat had long, tangled extremely pale ginger fur over a bulky frame, while green eyes shone nervously from his face. After his head dip of a greeting, Whitefire's curiosity was roused enough to speak. "Hullo!~" she remarked rather cheerfully, her eyes widening in fascination. Shaking out her pure white pelt, the she-cat promptly sat down in her spot and didn't bother moving forward. The other cat seemed a little nervous, although Whitefire couldn't tell. Maybe moving forward would make him more nervous. "What are you doing out on such a pretty day like this?"

Paleheart raised his head and his face turned red with embarrassment. He nodded several times and lowered his ears. She seemed friendly, he should probably talk instead of looking like a fool. The tom gave a small nervous smile and spoke. "Um, hello. Greetings..." He looked up at the sky, it was a nice day outside. There weren't many clouds, and it had been pretty warm compared to the last few days.
Paleheart flicked his ears back up. "Clan stuff, arguments I'd rather not hear. You?" He returned to being a calm, still cat. Although his tail twitched a bit.

Flicking her golden eyes briefly against the wide expanse of blue above her head, Whitefire studied the broad-shouldered tom with a slightly curious expression. Clan stuff, with the addition of arguments? Sounds a little bit like IceClan these days. Sweeping her tail around her paws, Whitefire gave the pale-furred tomcat a genuinely interested look. "Mm.. Some unrest rising up in IceClan, but it hasn't gotten too bad yet." Whitefire replied honestly, one ear flattening to her skull mildly. "Thought I'd take a walk so I can actually get some peace."

His head tilted, he sat down. There was conflict in Iceclan as well? Huh, glad he wasn't alone. Paleheart stared blankly at the she-cat, his tail twitching. He gave her a small smile. "Same here, is it easy to travel through Iceclan territory? I've always thought it was difficult." He asked, his gaze turning to the mountains. He could only imagine the accidents those must have caused. He preferred his paws to the ground and his home with the plants.

For a few moments, Whitefire was quiet. Then she eyed him suspiciously. "It depends on if you're small and quick, or bulky and slow." she mewed mildly. "To me, it's not that hard. We actually develop muscle as we climb up the mountain, but there are a lot of dangers involved. Such as rock falls, someone falling and breaking something. People have also died in the past." Shaking out her white fur, though she felt a brief moment of victory when she spotted his small smile. "What's it like tree-climbing? I'm terrible at it." she admitted freely. "There are a lot of pines on our territory, but I stay away from them."

Paleheart kept quiet for a moment or two after Whitefire stopped speaking, his ears twitched. "Oh... I wish good luck for those cats..." He shivered at the thought of falling to his death or being crashed by rocks. It was these moments when Paleheart was glad he wasn't born in Rockclan with his father. Everything was usually safe in Treeclan, except for falling trees.
"Tree-climbing? I haven't done it too much, but it is fun. But you do have to hold on for dear life when you're climbing and pray you don't fall. There's been several tree injuries in this clan. Iceclan doesn't have many birds or squirrels, so you shouldn't have to risk that, thankfully."
