First encounter (P)

Anastasia clambered onto the small foot stool in her house, her incredibly short legs fighting to scramble onto it. She leaped onto the kitchen table chair next, then the table itself. She hopped onto the counter, stepping out of the kitchen sink window, which her owner had so kindly left open right after she left for work. Anastasia had been out in her yard a few times already, although she never got tired of it.

Anastasia blinked, the scent of a nearby cat hitting her nose. It appeared that he was walking right by her houses pretty picket fence. "Hello!" She called out, walking closer to the fence. She couldnt exactly get over it, as it was much too tall for her short, munchkin legs.

Jordan was walking along the thin fence, quietly bobbing his head as he walked. As he passed a house, he heard someone call out in greeting. He blinked and turned his head to see a white she-cat in the yard he was walking past. He could see she was a fellow house-cat, and he jumped down into the yard with a friendly expression on his face.

"Hello, there. I'm Jordan." He said introducing himself. He was a far ways away from his house, so he'd never seen this she-cat around.

"Anastasia." She smiled in greeting, her tail swaying in a friendly matter. It was always good to see a new face, and this cat seemed rather charming in nature. "I haven't seen you around, do you live near here?" She questioned, her voice smooth.

Jordan smiled. "That sounds like a lovely name." He said, genuinely believing it was a rather pretty-sounding name. "I live on the edge of Town." He explained. "It's not too far, but it is a bit of a walk."

"I can't image why you're so far out here then." Anastasia tilted her head slightly, small ears flicking. Oh, how she had grown to dislike how short she was in comparison to normal sized cats. She wanted to offer to walk him home, but she knew she couldn't leave the fence.

"I like a bit of adventure, that's all." Jordan explained. He liked the little adventures he had. "Plus, my friends all live pretty far out." He had to wonder though... Had Anastasia ever left her home? She... Seemed like she'd have a bit of difficulty leaving her house.

"Oh." Anastasia nodded, curling her tail around her paws as she sat down. "I've never gone on an adventure before. They seem dangerous." She flattened her ears against her head. She had always wanted to go on one.

"It's not that dangerous." Jordan said. "I've never been hurt on one of my outings." He wondered if Anastasia was... Disapproving over his apparent adventurous personality.

Anastasia flicked her ears back. "Oh. I guess it sounds fun.." She trailed off, still unsure. Although she didn't think he would lie to her.

Jordan looked at Anastasia. "Well, I suppose it's not for everyone." He amended. "I think I'm bit different from most kittypets." He confessed.

"Well that's okay, I like different." Anastasia purred, trying to reassure him. She didn't want to make him feel strange, she knew how that felt.

Jordan smiled. "Thanks. You're pretty nice, y'know."

Anastasia beamed. "Aww thanks, you're pretty nice yourself." She flicked her tail softly.
