Kayla walked over the fence, tilting her head at what seemed to be a stray shadow. She rolled her eyes, quickly dismissing the thought of what some may think, 'Oh no, it's a ghost!' she could already hear them squeeling. No, it wasn't a ghost. It was a... She glanced around and spotted a bird on a house above. It was just the bird.

flovios licked his lips as he stalked along a tree branch, blue eyes focused on a small bird that stood on top of a nearby house. he lowered himself and began edging towards it, unsheathing his claws as he got ready to leap onto the roof and kill the bird- he stayed silent as he did so.

smirking, flovios leaped quietly onto the roof and made his way even closer to the feathered animal, jumping towards it and somehow managing to land on top of it before it flew away. the young tom killed it swiftly, beginning to pluck it of it's feathers as he looked down at a fence and saw another cat walking along it.

Kayla froze as she saw another cat catch the bird. Probably a wild cat. Not good. She didn't believe most of the myths about them, but she still didn't like them. They smelled bad.

flovios' blue eyes widened at the other cat in a slightly threatening manner- they looked and smelled like a kittypet. he didn't have a problem with kittypets specifically, but he knew that they were acquainted with twolegs, one of his most hated creatures.

"what are you looking at?" the blue tom asked sharply, his face stained with a spot of the bird's blood.

Kayla shrugged and shook her head. "You." she said, not worrying about the other cat attacking. By the time he got there she would be back under her Twoleg's protection.

flovios let out a small grumble, "brave for a kittypet," he flicked his ear, climbing down from his position and jumping onto the fence also so that he was pretty much eye-level with the other cat. "you might wanna watch your mouth," he lashed his blue tail, "it'll get you in trouble one day," he warned, threateningly.

Kayla shrugged. "Not when I have twolegs to take care of me." she said in a slight hiss then smiled. "I'm Kayla, who are you?"

flovios hissed back, "i'll fight your twolegs and i'll fight you," he continued to threaten, lashing his tail rapidly with slight anger. "well, kayla," he grumbled, "i'm flovios."

"Nice to meet you flow-V-us" she said, trying to pronounce the name syllable by syllable and looking honestly sorry as she knew she probably failed.

flovios raised one brow at kayla's slight mispronunciation of his name, "if that's really too difficult, you can call me flo," he said, although went back to his kind of threatening tone again, "but that's only because it's gonna get annoying if you keep having to say my name in syllables, not because i like you."

"Sure." she shrugged. "Although, I would rather just not say your name at all than say it syllable by syllable each time.@"

flovios nodded and stuck his tongue out to lick some of the dry blood off of his face, "fine then," the young tom stated simply, turning to look around at their surroundings, flinching slightly when a twoleg passed them and letting out a small hiss as they walked off and around the corner.

Kayla tilted her head. "You really think you would fight one of them? They're much more useful as servents."

flovios began to growl a little, "no," he said, voice raised slightly, "twolegs are disgusting, disrespectful creatures who don't deserve the company of felines," he said, slanting his cold, blue eyes.
