flovios smiled as he made his way back towards where he had been staying recently, two small, brown mice limp between his jaws. the young cat let out a soft purr as he saw a familiar cat in sight, mrrowing to try and get their attention as he sped up towards them. beginning to grin widely, flo dropped the two rodents at the black and white feline's paws, "hello," he chirped, sitting down and wrapping his blue tail around his paws.

herba had been heading towards his most recent home, which was inside a hollowed tree; when a loud meow sounded. herba was immediately prepared, puffing out his fur and arching his back. he relaxed only when he saw that it was his brother, someone he was always glad to see. 

"flo!" he yelled as an answer, jogging quickly towards him. herba dipped his head, a smile spreading on his face. "nice to see you, brother." he said, nuzzling against flo's cheek before sitting in front of him. 

"how have you been?"

flo let out a loud laugh when herba began nuzzling his cheek, doing the same to the other cat as he stuck his tongue out in an attempt to lick them. "i've been good, thanks," he purred, still laughing slightly as he too pulled back. "where ya' been? i've not seen you for like... a few hours," the blue cat guessed, blinking his bright eyes. "how's life going?"

"Just, around." Herba said, shrugging.  "It's okay. Boring though, I haven't met any new cats. You?"

flo smiled softly as he listened to herba speak, swishing his blue tail gently from side to side, "i can relate," he chuckled quietly to himself at his brother's statement. "i have, actually," he purred, continuing, "there was this one kittypet called kayla or something like that... pretty annoying though. there was also this cat i met called loki but i honestly don't know what to think of him," he spoke.

he smiled softly, looking out around them. "It's a nice change, living out here; away from the Twolegs and street cats." herba responded, looking back at his brother. He didn't mind much leaving his home, but he always wondered that if he stuck around, would he see his friend again? He also wondered whether his Twolegs got a new cat, or maybe a dog; if they did he felt sorry for the new pet.

flo nodded, grinning slightly, "it really is," he purred, looking around at the fields, "leaving twolegplace was the best decision of our lives. no twolegs out here, and beautiful scenery," he turned his focus back to herba again, blinking.

"Whaddya think about the clans?" Herba inquired, not knowing any other topic to discuss.

flovios shrugged, "their okay i guess, but it seems a little weird," he noted, "if even one cat in any place of authority down there were to screw up once the whole place would turn to anarchy," the blue cat said, turning his head in the direction of the clans' territories.
