 L oki sat down and watched in amusement as Thor proceeded to catch and kill a large hare. It was very large, and he guessed Thor could never eat it by himself. Loki's mind temporarily wandered to one of Thor's friends, Volstagg, who would gladly eat the whole thing by himself. Loki gestured to the hare, "Where is Volstagg when you need him?" |

"Yeah." He agreed, the sadness of his voice hidden in between bites. One day, he'd see Volstagg again; his friends and his beloved home. Thor jerked his head towards the hare. "Want some?"

L oki shook his head, clearly saying he didn't want food at the moment. He was full, and he didn't like being stuffed. It made him feel as if he couldn't move, and when he couldn't move, he was vulnerable. (( your choice. i think it'd be easier to do here )) |

Thor pushed away the rest of his food, feeling guilty for wasting it. It would only tire him on his way back to his cave. Or, maybe he could sleep somewhere near Loki. Just for tonight.
He was about to do somewhat of an attempt at smalltalk, when a strong stench hit him. Just then, a large black and white creature screeched and jumped towards them. Thor panicked and, jumped up, distancing himself from it. "By the lords Loki, is this one of your magic tricks?!" He knew the answer would be no, though he hoped it would be yes. They were both powerless.

L oki was watching as Thor pushed away his hare when the scent of badger hit his nose. "Thor..." he started, but didn't have time to finish his sentence. The badger was already upon them, screeching and lumbering towards them in the mose undignified way. Loki began backpeddling away from the creature, his ears flat on his neck. When his brother screamed out towards him, Loki could only respond with a look of horror. If he did still have his powers, the creature would be gone. |

The creature lumbered towards though, and he easily dodged the attack. As he was moving towards the side, he sliced through the animal's flesh on his leg; creating an angry scream from it.

L oki watched Thor take action, and so he also took action. He leaped onto the badger's head and clawed fiercely at the creature's right eye. Blood began running down it's face, and so Loki guessed he had taken out it's eye. But as he was leaping off, he wasn't fast enough, and so a large paw smacked against his side and he hit the side of a tree hard, the wind knocked from him. |

Thor watched as his brother was knocked out, anger seeping from him. The silver tabby jumped onto it's back, sinking in his claws to retain from being thrown off. He was slipping, though, and as he did he made sure to rake his claws deeply along his back as he slipped.
The badger was unforgiving, though, and Thor was thrown off it's back. As he was being thrown off, he quickly gained hold of it's tail, and tugged hard.
The savage creature wouldn't give up, and as it was nearing him, he glanced at Loki; making sure his brother was still breathing. |

L oki blinked slowly and picked up his head, the world swirling. He suddenly firrowed his brow with an intense glare in his green eyes and thought angerily about how he wasn't a whimp, and even without his abilities, he was useful. He leaped onto his paws quickly and analyzed the beast's fight pattern. It looked as if he relied fully on strength, making his moves slower and heavier. With quick paws, Loki darted between it's thick legs and bit a vein in its wrist. With a yowl, it reared up, and Loki just had time to rear up as well and slash across it's belly before having to dart away again. He gave a quick glance to his brother, before looking back at the beast's head. "It fights like you, relying on strength." A small smirk crossed his lips. |

"Oh, Shut up Loki!" Thor yelled back, though he couldn't help but chuckle at his brother. He watched carefully at Loki's move, then went in for his own. He ran in and bit each of it's legs hard while dodging it's attacked. When the warrior got to the last leg, he bit it so hard he felt the bone, causing the beast to collapse. Thor cheered, turned and winked at his brother; but faces the black and white creature once more. He knew it wouldn't give up that easy, even with a crippled paw. |

L oki saw that his brother listened to him and followed his technique, and for a split second, it felt as if they were in battles again, fighting for glory and justice. But Loki quickly shook it off. Even if they were equals on the battlefield, they always returned to Asgard and Loki fell back into the shadow once again. With a quick bite, Loki aimed for a front paw diagonal from the crippled back paw. With two crippled paws across from each other, it would be hard for the creature to walk. |

Thor puffed out his fur and arched his back, nearing the animal and snarling at it. His brother joined with him, and the creature growled back; but stumbled away from them.
When it was gone, he looked at his brother, with a tired smile. Fighting was much harder without his abilities, but he was proud he and his brother fought off that beast. |

L oki let out a short sigh and looked up at his brother, a little tired. "I guess we're both missing our powers," he said, wishing he could make illusions as he once could. It would be extremely helpful in any moment. |

"We could get them back." He murmured, loud enough for his brother to hear. Then he found Loki's gaze, a determined look in his eyes. He rose an eyebrow at Loki, grinning mischeviously. Sure, it might be nuts to try and go back to Asgard. But it would be worth a try, to at least see home again; before coming back- if his brother wanted to stay here. He caught Loki's look, continuing quickly. "It would be fast, if we'd be able to make it. Just to make sure home's okay, then we could return here if you'd like." Thor had no idea how the Asgardians would react to their faces, or how he'd react to his home. He knew it would calm him a little, to see his home in peace. |

L oki sat up slightly at Thor's suggestion, then furrowed his brow a small bit at the part where he said 'they could return.' If they got a chance to get back to Asgard, then Loki would never leave again, unless he knew he could get back. "An ant has no quarrel with a boot," he said, before flicking his tail. He wanted to leave now, to retrace steps now. No one needed him here anyway. He thought of Brightwing. She might need him. Besides, he had brought her into the wilderness. He shook his head. He would return when he could, with his powers. |
