It was dawn, the darkness of the night finally fading away, the rising sun warming Thor's bones.
It had been a while since he last seen his brother, who had run from him during their fight. They fought too much, for stupid reasons. Though Thor loved his brother deep down, and he was sure Loki somewhat did; they never were united. Ever since his sister was thought dead, they grew part drastically.
Thor had slept during most of yesterday, waking little past midnight to travel to the plains, where he was sure Loki would be. It was a long distance, however; the walk gave him lots of time to calm down and think on how to approach his brother. He wasn't sure how this meeting would end, hopefully not as bad as their last run in, which left Thor with a hurt shoulder.
Now that he was thinking about it, maybe it was stupid to be coming here. Maybe it was a lost cause. He should've just left to Asgard himself, and if his family wanted to go they could themselves.
But it was too late, as the familiar fight of the plains came into view.
An hour or so later of looking or his brother, he came to a den that smelled of clovers, his brother's scent. "Loki," he called out, his voice echoing. Even though the den was empty, his brother ought to be around here somewhere. "Loki!"

L oki had been out, meeting new cats and doing the things he did before his life split down the middle. It was hard to explain what had happened the last few moons, as well as comprehend. Loki was out hunting, getting his morning breakfast, when he heard someone call his name. He traced the noise to the den he had been staying in the past three days. It had been a nice den, but he planned on leaving it today. He crept through the grass, silent paw after silent paw, when the other cat called his name again. This time, he was much closer, and reconized the voice. It was his brother's. Loki stood up all in the grass, his head and shoulders peeking out from it. The yellow strands swayed gently against his coat. "Hello, brother," Loki said, trying to figure out why his brother was here, at this moment on this day. They hadn't seen each other in a while.

It was nice, seeing his brother again, no matter their last encounter.
"You've been fine?"

L oki nodded. "Yes." Obviously his hrother was being the big brother kind again, worrying about his younger brother. It was weird to have someone actually care about him, but Loki always knew his brother cared. He bit his lip and took a quick step forward. "Look, im sorry," he said, before he choked on his own words with a half scowl. The cat he was becoming reminded him of the cats who lived here. He needed to remember that he was not like them.

"They turning you soft?" Thor asked with a chuckle, his voice deep with his accent.
His eyes darkened over, as he looked down at his paws. "I saw Willowsong."

L oki gave a dark smile. "It seems they are. I haven't been around Asgardians in a while." At the sound of his sisters name, Loki became slightly more aware. He narrowed his eyes. "Another fight? You should probably stop those..."

"Not a fight, just-" he sighed. "A lot. She told me so many things, even bought up our fight that was right before the fire. I don't know what to do." Thor looked back towards his brother. "I need your help."
((You don't have to read the link, but if you're curious to what he is referring to, the 'fight' is the last post (Calista's) on the first page of that thread.))

L oki had given Thor help for as long as he could remember, but this was different. It was different because it involved their sister, and they were much older now than they had been back then. So, he responded, "What do you need me to do..." (( thats intense ))

"How do I stop it? It's like it's too late to 'stop' whatever this is, but it's already started. What even is this?"
((Sucky post. And ikr?!?!!))

L oki shrugged. "It sounds like an intense sibling war. You guys aren't getting along, and maybe the best thing to do is speak your mind." Loki smiled, he spoke his mind, with claws and teeth.

He couldn't help but laugh at his brother, as Loki's personality was probably his favorite of all other cats he's known - excluding some certain aspects. "Did you already eat?" Thor asked his brother, the topic of his sister making him feel depressed.

L oki thought back to a measily mouse he had for breakfast. He wouldn't even call that eating, but he never ate too much. Somehow, he still found himself shakin his head. "I was about to when you rudely disturbed me." His voice was threaded with sarcasm.

"Whatever. Come on." Thor hoped he'd follow after him.
They hadn't been hunting together a while. Not since.... he let the thought stay out of his head. Hopefully it stayed out of his brothers, too.
"Where do they keep the food food around here?"

L oki stifled a laugh, and eyed him brother. He guessed he had acted the same way when he arrived here, but it was still funny to hear. "You have to go find it yourself." He padded after his brother and walked beside him.

Thor internally rolled his eyes as he lifted his nose upwards, soon picking up the scent of a hare. With a smirk, he dropped low, stalking forward until he was closer to the smell.
The striped grey tom could see it in front of him now; unaware he was near death. Not so much of a 'pounce,' but a sprint forward and a small jump, got his claws sunk into the rear end of the hare. He moved forward quickly, planting a killing bite on it's neck.
Although the prey was almost as large as Thor, it wasn't a struggle dragging it back under a tree he'd spotted. It was more than enough for him, and he wouldn't mind sharing with his brother. Although he was sure Loki would want to catch his own prey.
