Harley Quinn had promised a lovely kittypet another meeting, so a meeting they shall have.

It was fairly early in the morning, as her sleeping schedule was scattered all over the place. Harley didn't sleep much. But hopefully the kittypet -what was the name? Cocoa?- would be awake and waiting. 

She scrambled up onto the gate from yesterday, rather ungracefully, as she waited for him to arrive.

[Cocoa]

Padding around the corner, Cocoa hoped that he wasn't too late. Gently giving the air a quick sniff, he scented another cat around. Scrambling up a fence, Cocoa was able to see the she-cat now. "Hello!" He greeted, giving a slight wave of his tail. "How are you doing today?"

"Quite fine, and yourself?" The weather was perfect, the early morning was always her favorite time of day. It also brought out an abundance of fresh-prey, that were more comfortable scattering out in the morning, assuming the predators were asleep.


"Care for a hunt?" Harley wondered if the kittypet would be brave enough to venture out into the forest for some prey, or maybe somewhere near the gate. Or if he already had before, then he'd be okay with it now. 

[Cocoa]

"I'm doing quite well." Answered Cocoa, giving a little stretch. Padding closer to Harley, "It's nice to see you again."

"Hunting?" Asked Cocoa, tilting head to one side. Hunting was never really a hobby for him, but he sometimes stalked a few birds. "Not that I haven't done it before. I caught a bird before in my own garden."

"Well, catch one now." She turned to the loner territories, the music of birds near. If they were to look hard enough, they could find some; she wouldn't mind a bird either.

[Cocoa]

The tip of Cocoa's tail twitched as Harley turned toward the loner territory. Cocoa never really ventured into that territory before, but it might it be worth a try. "Could you show me some parts of it?"

"Well, there's this one place..." Harley recalled the meadows where she had met Belladonna, deciding it would be nice enough to show Cocoa. "It's not too far. Come on." She beckoned with her paw, jumping off the gate and landing lightly on her paws; looking back to make sure he was following. 

After a while of walking, she decided to break the silence. "You don't do this often, huh?" 

[Cocoa]

Wondering where they were heading, Cocoa followed Harley. Landing not as gracefully as her, Cocoa quickly shook his pelt, showing that he was okay.
After walking in silence for a while, Cocoa pricked his ears up as Harley began to speak. "No... I don't normally do this. I usually just venture around the Twoleg place."

"Well today's your lucky day." Harley announced as they neared the meadow, the flowers now in sight. "It's quite nice out here." She let the younger cat look around before continuing. "Rich in prey, too."

[Cocoa]

Gently sniffing a flower, Cocoa let out a loud purr. It was quite nice and all the flowers smelled sweet. Heading a faint rustle in the grass, Cocoa flicked his tail, indicating that he found some prey. Slowly crouching down, Cocoa started heading toward the twitching patch of grass.

Harley stared after Cocoa, impressed. His crouch was nearly perfect, he seemed a natural. She watched quietly, waiting for his next move. 

[Cocoa]

Slowly creeping toward the mouse, Cocoa realized that it wasn't so big. Shrugging his shoulders a little, Cocoa leaped. Landing on the tail of the mouse, Cocoa quickly lashed out a paw. Hearing the snap of the mouse's neck, Cocoa gently picked up the mouse. Feeling proud of himself for his first actual catch, Cocoa dropped the mouse in front of Harley. "Here, you can have it."
