Midnightpaw gently licked her paw and drew it over a white ear. "Do you have any siblings that came with you?"

"Well, Hollykit's a boy. Not a girl. He always feels like he needs to prove himself because we're adopted. He's also pretty protective of Basilkit and I." Juniperkit explained. "Basilkit is a bit daring, and he's fun to be around. He can sometimes can get a bit grumpy. They both have siamese-y markings." Juniperkit changed positions from sitting to lying on the ground, tummy-up while staring at the stars. NOTES ; I've done worse xD. Also, I'm kind of just making up Basilkit's personality as I go bc I only had one thread with him and he hasn't done the personality part of his bio yet |

"Okay." Midnightpaw mewed as she listened to Juniperkit. Her whiskers twitched a little when Juniperkit said that Hollykit was a boy. Midnightpaw assumed the he was a girl, but then thought it was cute that he felt like he had to protect his siblings. The amused look on Midnightpaw's face soon turned into surprised. "You do that as well?"

"Oh. This?" Juniperkit asked, rolling onto her side so that she was facing the black she-cat. "I don't know; I don't really keep track. Maybe... maybe on this one night, just before TreeClan took my siblings and I in... my mom caught a lot of prey, and our bellies were full. It was a clear night, and I remember lying in the grass, looking at the stars. I don't particularly remember my position, but lying on my back like this.." she paused to resume the position. Taking a deep breath, Midnightpaw slowly got to her paws. "I think it might be time to go back to sleep." Quickly swiping her tongue over white patch on her chest, Midnightpaw mewed, "Do you want me to walk with you to the Nursery?"

Juniperkit nodded. A yawn escaped her tiny, kitten-teeth-lined jaws as if on cue. She rolled onto her stomach, then extended her limbs to raise herself. But upon hearing Midnightpaw's offer, Juniperkit just shook her head politely. "I can do it myself, but thanks for the offer." Juniperkit smiled faintly, before elegantly leaping off of the flat stone. She glanced back at Midnightpaw, flicked her tail in goodbye, then silently padded back to the nursery. NOTES ;Okay. |

Nodding farewell, Midnightpaw watched Juniperkit pad into the Nursery. Looking back up at the stars one last time, Midnightpaw jumped down from the ledge. Padding toward the Apprentices den, Midnightpaw wondered what fate had for her next.
(Good ending! I think Midnightpaw and Juniperkit should meet again!)
