Sky ((Whoops I think I forgot to make it...?Natalia didn't really spend much time in her den anymore. The faint scents and memories were a bit... Unpleasant. Instead, there was this tree she often gravitated towards. There was a specific branch that reached upwards, and was thick enough to support the tabby's weight. After sleeping in it on several nights, she'd begun dragging some mossy padding to drape over the branch. Thus... She'd taken to sleeping in trees. This was where she woke up, her green eyes slowly fluttering open. She yawned, propping up the upper part of her body with her forelegs. Then she began the journey downward. Once she softly landed on the ground, a familiar scent hit her nose. Hm. She hadn't really... Talked to any old... Allies in a while. She'd cut ties with Pain. Patch was never around. Jude was dead. No one else was really around at all. Except... Sky. That blind calico was the only cat that Natalia could ever call an ally that the red-furred she-cat was still willing to talk to without much fuss.It was hard to find cats like that nowadays. Everyone either proved to be unworthy, dead, or simply weren't around. Speaking of which... She was still planning to interrogate Patch about that Quail kid. Tch.Still, there was a scent to follow. Lifting her nose to the air, she gently tread through the forested territory that Deathclanners called home. Then when she poked her head around a tree trunk she found the cat she was looking for."Hey, Sky." Greeted the scarred tabby.

Sky had rather... tired, lately. She wouldn't consider herself old or anything, although she was an adult, a blink one at that. All her senses were always on overdrive, trying to make up for her inability to see. Even her personality was extra. Sometimes she grew rather tired of trying to appear menacing, and lucky for Natalia, today was one of those days. When Sky scented the approaching feline, she didn't bother moving. Last time she had spoken to her, things went generally well. Natalia had caught her in her early Deathclan days, when she wasn't so crude.
Sky turned around lazily, pinpointing Natalia's scent as she rounded the tree Sky had been sitting underneath. "Natalia, its been awhile." She greeted back, the casual words feeling awkward on her tongue. It felt kind of nice, not having to keep up any sort of act. She had no reason to. Although, despite her comfort around the easy going she-cat, Sky was still alert, even having her claws out, hidden underneath her fluffy tail.

Natalia wasn't really bothering to cover her presence, since the goal was never to startle or surprise Sky. It's not like she got some kinda of strange sadistic pleasure from scaring people. Well, people she liked. Cats like Ash were probably the exception. She was reasonably sure, anyways.
"It has." Came her reply. "How's life? I've been trying to... Let's say... Reconnect with the current times." She explained. Jude's death had hit her hard. Incredibly and devastatingly so. Her... Supposed progress with connecting to other cats shattered like glass and slipped through her claws. It had taken weeks but... She'd somehow regained her footing, after dropping off the grid and losing touch with everything... Making an extra strong effort to avoid cats. It was funny, how when she really put her mind to it, it was easy to avoid others. Hm.
Now, she was less keen on friends and more on... Allies. Though, she wasn't going to burn a bridge that still served its purpose.

It had just dawned on Sky that Natalia had been close to Jude. Probably closer than anyone else was to him. Her first thought was to torment her about it. Natalia wasn't able to save him. It must have been crushing her. Although, Sky didn't want to destroy the one ally she could potentially fully trust. Loki and Sky had been forming some kind of ally relationship, although he reminded her too much of herself, and it wouldn't be smart to trust him. But Natalia? She had no reason not to.
"I prefer to stay out of touch." Sky responded honestly, shrugging. She didn't need to be in touch with anyone, she did fine on her own.

Natalia shrugged. "Eh. That's your choice." She respected that Sky wasn't like her. "I'd rather not get blindsided by any unexpected developments. So, I figured it's best to get with the times." She wasn't going to press Sky into being a certain way. Sure, they could be called... Allies of a sort... But if it really came down to it... The red-furred tabby wasn't sure how much she would actually care if a similar fate to Jude's fell upon Sky. Would she be sad? Maybe a bit disappointed.
... It bothered Natalia significantly less than she would've thought, honestly.

Sky shrugged, and without meaning to, she flicked her ears back judgingly. "Whatever." She shrugged, suddenly taking on an annoyed tone. That was just how she worked, she supposed. It wasn't hard to get Sky moody. Sky shrugged off the negativity, grooming her paw casually as if there hadn't been a sudden change in her temper. "So... Any sudden changes in Deathclan I should be worrying about then?"

((It's cool. VWW muse is hard to come these days ahaha....
Natalia immediately picked up on Sky's mood, and she considered... Perhaps putting a leash on her uniquely almost always offensive sense of humor. ".... Well, I don't believe Deathclan's leadership transitional issues are going away any time soon." She rolled her eyes. "Pain's dropped off the grid. There was a cat who expressed a desire to usurp him, but she's disappeared as well. Her scent in Deathclan is stale at this point." She yawned. "Honestly, I realize it's a bit much to ask for the ideal cat to materialize and step up... But really, all these drama over the leadership is exhausting."

Sky shrugged uncaringly. "Meh. I really don't mind anarchy. Hell, I even kind of like it." She admitted. She preferred it when she didn't have to answer to anybody, especially when it came to being given orders. "Besides, Pain was a weak leader anyway, and his competition was weaker. Deathclan is better without them."

Natalia shrugged uselessly. "... Yeah. You're right." She admitted, considering all his competition had evaporated into thin air apparently. "... It won't kill us to be without a leader." They wouldn't be able to attack any clans being so disorganized... But she didn't hate the clans as some did. She thought they were weird, but she didn't mind their existence.
She'd help attack them, but no. She had no grudge against them.

Sky nodded her head in a curt manner, as if approving what Natalia had said. She always liked being right, after all. Not sure what to say, Sky pursed her lips. Was Natalia here for some small talk, or had she come with something more important? She doubted Natalia was here for something big, though. Deciding to be blunt, she raised a fictional brow. "So are you here for chit-chat, or was there something you wanted?" Sky wasn't sure if Natalia would consider her words rude, but Sky liked to get to the point, and small talk definitely didn't appeal to her.

Natalia shrugged. "Mm... Maybe I wanted to pop back in. Check that you're weren't dead." She said nonchalantly, even as she could've sworn she felt her throat growing tight. "Find out your opinions on recent events. Reassure myself that I would not yet find an enemy in you." She shrugged again. "I have nothing else of value to say. I assume you'd want me to leave and not come back without a real purpose?"

"We both know you wouldn't care if I was dead." Sky raised a fictional brow, amused. Sky could say the same. She didn't need allies-if Natalia could even be called that.
"I don't really care if I'm being honest. I'm just not much of a conversationalist, and from what I gather, neither are you."

Natalia found it bitingly hilarious how cats always assumed things about others. She supposed she did as well, which made her a hypocrite. "Heh. Maybe you're right. Maybe you're just making assumptions."
Then she turned around and looked over her shoulder one last time with a faint smirk on her lips. "See you around.... Sky." With that, she dashed off and disappeared up a tree.
((End?
