SEARCHING IN THE DARKNESS WE ARE CREATURES OF THE NIGHT RUNNING FROM THE DAY (( oh i was letting you do it but i guess i can because its my turn )) Loki turned and waited for Shadowbite as he hurried from his throne, his protection, and placed himself in between Loki and Thor. Just as Loki suspected, Shadowbite didn't recognize them, mostly because he believed they were dead and if one is stubborn enough, it blinds them. This was Shadowbite's weakness, his stubbornness. Loki led the king down pillar after pillar and through the door. He glanced at Thor, wondering when he would speak up, but Loki guessed that if he did speak, he would end up raging. Loki led the king to the unconscious guards, and glued his worried expression back on his face. He made sure to position himself in front of Shadowbite, right next to the guards, and Thor right behind the king, where Thor could easily attack. "Can you identify them?" Loki asked. Shadowbite stood for a moment, bumbling like the fool he was. Loki's gaze met Thor's with something fierce within it. Loki was no match for Shadowbite, but Shadowbite was no match for Thor. If Thor could pin the king down, Loki could get the answers he needed. (( sorry if im forcing you into roleplaying something  ( i dont know how to word this correctly ))   |

Thor followed after them, resisting his urge to laugh like an evil Disney villain. The warrior understood as he was placed behind the false king, who was now babbling like the fool he was. Thor nodded with a grin at Loki's look. He counted one second, two, before leaping onto the dark tom and pinning him down, Shadowbite's head making a loud banging sound as it connected with the floor.
The male struggled, but there was nothing he could do to release himself from Thor's grip. The seasoned and wildly talented warrior, combined with rage, proved a most valuable weapon in battle. Especially in this battle
Leaning down close to Shadowbite's ear, Thor whispered with deathly coolness, "You answer him, or your tongue's coming off." He retracted slowly, grinning at the fearful look plastered onto Shadowbite's face.

SEARCHING IN THE DARKNESS WE ARE CREATURES OF THE NIGHT RUNNING FROM THE DAY Loki took a step forward and threw off his helmet. The surprised look on Shadowbite's face was truly memorable, and a smile played on Loki's lips, but only for a second before he leaned down with rage in his eyes. His speech was calm, however.
"Tell us where Leya is, and we'll spare your life, you mewling quim." Loki spat out the last words, before standing up and circling to a position where he could eye Shadowbite correctly, and Shadowbite's eyes could follow him without restraint.
Shadowbite's mouth opened a few times, open and closed, and Loki just wanted to snap it shut. However, he finally managed to mutter out, "Observatory."
Loki nodded and turned to leave, but was stopped by Shadowbite's angry shout. "If you ever get your powers back, you will only ever be known as a tyrant!" His comment had been directed at both brothers, for he believed one of them would be the next king. Loki turned around with full rage radiating off him, and if he still happened to have his powers, he would probably look as if he was set inside a green fire. However, he said nothing to Shadowbite, but looked as his brother. A silent message was sent, 'knock him out.'

Thor laughed at Shadowbite's words, which he knew was a mistake even before he heard them. Extending his claws,the heavily brought down a paw on top of the male's head, quickly knocking him out.
Thor rushed after Loki, making way to the observatory.

"I would never just be king, Loki." I said, my accent deep. "And, I couldn't just watch you. The way you were becoming. I felt," My voice caught, so I cleared my throat. "I felt it was my fault, my responsibility." Even though I used to be a jerk to everyone; and a cocky prince; I always cared for my brother. Even when we couldn't stand each other, and when we grew terribly apart during our warrior years, he was always family, my best friend.
I pushed in front of him, to avoid anymore of the subject. Now was not a time to share our sad feelings, but a time to get ready and take back Asgard.
Though... I didn't really know what would happen when the throne was free for us. I didn't entirely want the throne, I felt Loki deserved it more than me; no matter his Jotun blood.
We made it to the observatory, and my cold paws were starting to get the best of me. Though I knew I had to do this. I had to restore the throne, and do what was right for my people.

SEARCHING IN THE DARKNESS WE ARE CREATURES OF THE NIGHT RUNNING FROM THE DAY Loki wanted to continue the subject, but when Thor pushed ahead, he knew it was better to let it drop. He padded along with Thor to the observatory, which was now close.
(( she's getting a little activity, but i would love another thread! lol, your site is taking all my muse xD ))

The princes stepped in easily, with no force stopping them. Inside, there was no one in sight. She must be using Loki's invisibility part of his powers. "Leya." Thor called out, tired of chasing the she-cat all over Asgard. "Show yourself."
The snake cackled, her voice warm on Thor's ear. "Looking for me?" He didn't make a movement, as he could never be sure if that was the real Leya. Soon, others starting appearing all around the observatory. Swaying and laughing and- he needed Heimdall. Where was she? Had they locked him in a dungeon? If so, then they were the true tyrants. That would mean they'd locked him up six years ago, the day Thor tricked Loki, and left him to waste away in the dungeons. Everything was starting to come together, in a frightening way.
"Give us what we came for, and there will be no more trouble."
"Why should I, prince? I'm not one to share..." One of the Leya's rubbed against his muzzle, so he snapped at it; which soon disappeared in a green haze; causing her to giggle more and make a tsk, tsk, sound.

SEARCHING IN THE DARKNESS WE ARE CREATURES OF THE NIGHT RUNNING FROM THE DAY Through the cloud of illusions, Loki kept his focus. This was a trick he had used on countless enemies, and if one was ever to see through it, it was him. He closed his eyes and honed his hearing in on the cackles and pawsteps of the illusions, as Sky had instructed him. However, he noticed that not one paw ever really hit the ground.
His eyes flew open instantly. "She's not actually here, it's a trap!" And with one smooth motion, all the illusions disappeared. They were once again alone in the observatory, but Loki took no time sprinting to the exit and down the short, golden bridge. He knew where she was, where she was waiting. Staircase after staircase he flew down, until his paws hit solid ground. A growl started in his throat, and his eyes pierced the fading darkness. Down the hall across from the princes stood Leya. She looked worse than ever, at least to Loki's eye. She was adorned with the most hideous jewelry, most of which he could tell belonged to enemies. But the sight of her didn't make him growl, no, it was the one necklace she wore that stood out beyond all others. It had belonged to his mother.

"This will be the last time I say it, woman" Thor growled through his teeth. "Give us what is ours and you will have peace." Momentary, peace. They would be taking back the throne, of course, but she needn't know of that little fact right now.

Her wicked laugh bounced off every cell, and Heimdall could be seen, watching, through one of them. "Do you think you can stop me?" she laughed. "I wield your powers. You're powerless."
Loki stopped growling instantly and couldn't help but laugh. Then, he nearly burst out laughing, but finally stopped to stare her straight in the eye as she looked around, confused. "We could beat you without powers, you witless worm. We already have."
