Asphyx looked up suddenly at his random comment. "Ohhh!" she exclaimed with a large smile. "That's so cute!"

Rot had the urge to roll his eyes, but he decided not to. "She gave it to me when we first met. She said that she likes to give other cats different names, based on their personalities."

Asphyx flicked her tail with a smile. It held a sad tint to it, but not too much of one. "I don't have a nickname. I've never had one, and probably will never recieve one. All my friends are (heathens xD) dead."

"Well, didn't I give you one when we first meet? Fighter? Or would you like a different one?" Rot meowed.

(Wait for them to ask you what you know... XD)

Asphyx's gaze dropped to the ground quickly with a laugh, before she raised it back up to Rot. "You could call me Legend," she teased, but it was something she would have to explain.

[Rot]

Even though Asphyx was teasing, Rot meowed, "I like it. It has a nice ring to it, don't you think?"

(It really does!)

Asphyx swished her tail with a large smile. "If you think it's fitting, I won't complain. Where I come from, there is an old tale about a legendary cat named Asphyx, and my mother named me after the legend."

"Hmmm. My mother.... Didn't do that for me." Rot meowed, trying to make it like a joke.

Asphyx smiled, though she didn't laugh. The comment was meant to be funny, but the subject could be quite sensitive, and so she strayed away from hurting him.

[Rot]

Quickly changing the subject, Rot said, "Where did you first come from? I mean, before you became a Loner?"

Asphyx found this subject one she could talk about, and both enjoyed and despised talking about it. Though, even if she just met Rot, she felt she could tell him. She saw no harm in doing it, mostly because she'd told quite a few others, and she couldn't exactly remember who knew and who had no clue.

"I came from Pyyria. It's a long ways North." She pointed to the tall, snowy mountains in the distance. "I crossed those to get here. The range stretches all the way to my land, but it is a cold and plunderous journey, sucking the life from even the most lively." She paused in her sentence, before adding in a teasing tone, "You must be level four friend to unlock tragic backstory."

[Rot]

"That is quite far. I came far past the Plains." Rot meowed, waving his tail. Then, with a mischievous smile, Rot asked, "What level am I on now?"

Asphyx looked over the plains, and to the land beyond. It was mysterious, but it wasn't as far away as Asphyx's home. No, her home was basically a dream. She wondered if she'd ever go back, maybe just for a quick visit, but it would be a long journey just to see what was happening over there.

At his next comment, she gave a wide, bright smile. She placed her paw on her chin thoughtfully, then answered, "Probably level two. That's better than most on the first meeting."

[Rot]

"Well, that's certainly a honor!" Purred Rot. Chuckling slightly, Rot right into Asphyx's eyes. "Thank you."
