Arrowstar padded out of the leader's den, his jaws unhinged in a large yawn. His amber eyes flicked to the fresh-kill pile. Full, it seemed, and there was a delicious-looking rabbit on the top. The tom licked his lips and jumped down from his den, quickly trotting over to the pile. His claws raised and snagged the rabbit so he could pull it on the ground beside him.

Even though he hated to admit it, he missed eating rabbit from time to time. It just reminded him of FireClan too much and now that curious Oceanstar. He shuddered at the though, opting to begin his meal.

Midnightpaw was picking at her mouse as she sat in front of the Apprentices Den. Her green gaze rested on the Arrowstar as he grabbed a rabbit from the fresh-kill pile. Picking up her mouse, Midnightpaw padded toward the Leader. "You look a little lonely," She meowed, setting down her mouse, "Mind if I join you?"

Just as he was about to start his meal, Arrowstar was interrupted by a young she-cat heading his way, speaking to him and requesting to eat with him. He blinked at the apprentice before giving a short nod. "Be my guest," he replied, glancing back at his rabbit. He took the moment to actually start eating.
Once he had a few bites, the tom glanced back at the she-cat. "You are Midnightpaw, yes?" he asked. "I apologize for not being present at your ceremony. I was occupied with some business at the time," he meowed, giving a small bow of his head.

Settling down by her Leader, Midnightpaw slowly began to eat her mouse. Looking up when Arrowstar began to speak to her, Midnightpaw meowed, "Don't worry about it, I didn't mind. I am just glad that I am an apprentice."
