She'd long since shed her old name. If she was going to leave her old life behind... She figured she should get rid of anything and everything that could tie her back to her past. So, a new name was in order. After thinking long and hard on it... She thought of a name that sounded... Nice. Adaline. Though, when she'd tried it out on her tongue, she didn't like how... Above her it sounded. So, she'd decided to ask other cats to call her... Addie. It sounded nicer to her ears and didn't make her feel like her name conveyed more importance than she was actually worth.
The newly named Addie hadn't been in the plains long, but she'd made her home here. It was... Reminiscent of her old home, and wasn't too jarring. It was easy to adjust. She'd thus far had not met anyone else, and she was somewhat apprehensive of social interaction. Though, she knew that she had more wiggle room to burn bridges before they were even built than in her old life. The freedom of it all... Was better than she'd imagined. She could hunt when she wanted, no one could make her do anything, and there weren't any expectations. Not really.
She ignored the vague feeling of loneliness that threatened to rip her heart out of her chest. Though, she had to wonder how much of a heart to tear out there was.
She took a deep breath, and allowed the warm sunlight to soak into her fur. It wasn't too hot or humid. Perfect weather. She walked along, the blades of grass being crushed by her paws as she moved.

Falcon was on the move, heading to where he had his makeshift home. It was hard to stay in one place here, you had to constantly move and relocate. As he was lost in though of how he was going to get back without running into someone who might attack him, he caught a scent of a cat nearby. He put his nose to the grass, breathing hard as he tried to see if he'd ever smelt this scent before. He decided he hadn't. "Uh, hello?" He asked, looking around, ears pricked just in case someone was stalking him. Being only young, he had no proper training, relying on his own abilities and knowledge (which was admittedly little), and so an attack was always worst case scenario for him. Luckily a small scratch was the worst of the injuries he had accumulated so far, and that was from him escaping from a bush.
(if I'm unwelcome, just say so and i'll go and delete the post and leave okay C: )

((Nah, it's cool. It's open for a reason. [cough] btw... just a gentle writing suggestion you don't have to take if you don't want to... but it's fine if you bunch more sentences together in a single paragraph instead of having a lot of small paragraphs! also it's kinda hard to read your paragraphs being bunched together like that... [cough] again just a suggestion!
Adaline looked over her shoulder to see a younger tom cat looking about, calling out a greeting. He lacked clan smell... So, she figured it was safe to talk to him if she wanted. Did she want to? She wasn't sure. The idea of possibly earning another's cat's hatred set her on edge but... She shouldn't be afraid. She shouldn't care what others think. She should've learned all those things by now.
She turned around and approached him. She stepped softly, but made no effort to obscure herself, not that it'd be easy on this wide, open plains. "Hey, there. I'm Addie." She said, introducing herself.

(okay, I shall take what you have suggested C: NP)
Falcon dipped his head to the approaching cat, taking in her features and scent. He sat on his haunches, preparing in case this went south and ended in a bad way. He didn't know this cat, and so was being very cautious.
"Hello, Addie." He meowed, greeting the she-cat. He blinked curiously at her. "I'm Falcon. Were you from a clan or something?" He asked, smelling a slightly familiar scent he had previously picked up when passing the clan borders one day. His ears pricked up and he was instantly intrigued.

Addie got a name very quickly: Falcon. She was instantly pegged as having ties to the clans. She imagined it was her scent. It was one thing... That would take some time to change. "Nah. Just spent some time in those areas recently." She explained smoothly, no traces of the blatant lie visible in her voice, expression, or body language.

Falcon nodded, accepting this without hesitation. He relaxed slightly, unsure weather Addie posed a threat or not, but he was already making judgments and assesments that made him want to believe that he could possibly trust her.
"Do you know you way around this place?" He asked, curious as to weather Addie was new to this area or had lived here for a while. This was mainly because he didn't know anything about her, and was trying to figure her out as subtly as possible.
