Lionkit grinned, whiskers twitching in amusement; although he wasn't the most observant of kits, even he could notice Dustkit's slight frustration, and it made him want to goad his brother on even more. However, he had no time to think of another sly remark before Dustkit leaped towards him. Lionkit crouched down, preparing for an attack against his shoulders when, all of a sudden, he felt something bat at his paws.

Lionkit very narrowly avoided falling flat on his noise, instead scrambling to regain his footing and kicking up dirt in the process. "Hah, I see you've gotten smarter." He coughed out. He could've sworn he'd heard Dustkit say something, something insulting. Ah well. Once he was on all four paws again, he tried to swipe at Dustkit's face with an outstretched paw.

[Dustpaw]

"Yeah, you shouldn't underestimate me brother." Dustkit replied to Lionkit's coughed out remark.

Dustkit hissed as Lionkit swiped a paw across his face, staggering back from the force behind it. He spat at the floor - happy that there was no blood - before glaring at Lionkit.

"You seem to have improved also." Dusrkit grudgingly meowed, before flinging himself at Lionkit's flank, knowing it was a bad move because it was easy to dodge, but Dustkit didn't know if Lionkit was quick enough.

"I'll try not to!" He said, completely focusing his amber eyes on his brother. Dustkit wasn't an awful fighter by any means, no, but to be caught off guard by his attack made Lionkit slightly worried. Only one of them could be the winner, after all. When Dustkit sent him a scathing glare, Lionkit smiled and replied, "Brother, even someone as wonderful as me--" 

Lionkit was cut off by a sharp inhale and the feeling of Dustkit attacking his flank. Darn it, he could've totally avoided that one! He fell against the ground with a yowl, trying to swipe Dustkit off of him with his paws and hind-legs.

Dustkit grinned wickedly at Lionkit as he flew into his brother. He felt the golden tom try to get him off using his hind legs, but ready for that, Dustkit stood a little off to the side and tried to plant his fore-paws against Lionkit's chest and neck, aiming to hold him down.

"Surprised you didn't dodge that, it was such a rookie mistake. Maybe you should stop gloating about yourself and realise that you aren't the greatest." Dustkit snarled, using one of his back legs to hold down Lionkit's.

Lionkit kept kicking until he felt Dustkit's weight shift off him, and for a second he wondered if he'd somehow knocked his brother out, (he didn't even Dustkit, but maybe--) before he felt pressure against his chest and neck. Lionkit tried to use his front paws to swipe Dustkit's paws off, while kicking at the dirt and air with his hind-legs.

He rolled his eyes at Dustkit began to taunt him, ready to spit out an insincere compliment about his brother's battle style when Dustkit decided to say that he wasn't as great as he thought he was. His fur bristled. "Nice try, but I know I'm the best, and will be forever! Maybe you're just jealous!" He hissed back, before trying to rear his head up and bite down on one of the paws holding him down.

[Sandpaw]

Sandkit liked play fighting with her brothers, but this time she decided to watch. If she studied some of their moves, it could help her fight along side with them during battle. Or even help her beat them during some apprentice practice battles. Watching carefully, Sandkit was slightly impressed by her brothers attacks.

Sandkit smiled as Dustkit manage to pin down Lionkit, even with him thrashing all over the place. Her smile turned into a gasp. Sandkit could see Lionkit arch his head and a glint of teeth. Looking lurching forward, Sandkit shoved Dustkit away. Screeching, Sandkit felt teeth stab into her tail. Even though she had medium length fur, Lionkit still managed to pierce her flesh. Turning quickly, Sandkit aimed to bat Lionkit's nose with quick soft hits.

Lionkit was caught off guard as, suddenly, his brother was shoved aside by Sandkit. His eyes widened as he clamped down on her tail (whoops!) and managed to draw blood. He quickly released his grip and scrambled to stand up, taking a few steps back. "Uh, sorry?" He said, looking around to make sure his brother wouldn't try a surprise attack.

Lionkit blinked as he felt a pale paw slap against his nose. Another hit, and then he cocked his head back, trying to avoid the rest of her hits. He smiled and raised his paws up, trying to retaliate with his own bats.

Dustkit's eyes were wide as he was shoved aside, and he turned quickly to see Lionkit bit Sandkit. "Hey!" She almost shouted, moving to shove Lionkit off their sister. "Don't hurt her, she wasn't involved."

He was annoyed that Lionkit had bitten Sandkit, and was now moving around, trying to hold her tail still so he could check it and see if she needed to go to the medicine den. "Are you alright?"

He glared at Lionkit, but found he wasn't actually mad, just concerned for Sandkit. "We'll continue later, if you promise not to bite." He challenged, a small grin forming.

[Sandpaw]

Sandkit felt her muscles tighten as she felt paws batter her nose, only look up when they stopped. About to protest that she could jump in anytime, Sandkit kept her mouth shut. She helped Dustkit, and he helped her back. That was nice of him...

Sandkit felt paws hold her tail still, which kinda made her want to move her tail around even more, but she held it still. "I'm okay, I'm okay!" Sandkit reassured, even though she winced a little bit, Dustkit was kinda holding down the bitten part. Looking up at Lionkit, Sandkit gave a small smile. "That was a good move! That's one way how to get out of the pin," Then her smile turned even bigger, "Just leave that for TreeClan or Loners!"

"okay, I believe you, just let me look!" Dustkit meowed, nosing Sandkits tail gently. After inspecting it, he let her go and nodded that she seemed to be fine, not too deep or anything.

"You little-" Dustkit meowed in mock anger, reaching over to whack Lionkit with his paw, claws all sheathed. He wasn't gonna fight Lionkit again just yet, maybe after a small break.

When Sandkit and Lionkit discussed the maneuver Lionkit had used to escape his hold, Dustkit pouted like a little girl. "Yeah, well you're a dirty player. That is not a good reputation to have." He muttered, knowing that Lionkit was probably please to have ANY reputation as long as someone knew his name.

Whoops was all the only word running through his mind as he was pushed to the side, which helped him get a better look at the accidental tail bite. It wasn't too deep (and on the bright side, at least her tail hadn't just come off) but he still stood off awkwardly to the side while Dustkit checked up on Sandkit.

"Uh--I mean, fine. As your magnificent brother, I promise not to bite either of you when we play-fight!" He declared. Lionkit would've laughed at Dustkit fussing over Sandkit's wound, but considering it was his fault it was there, he decided to hold it in for a later time. Lionkit turned around for a second, inspecting his own fur to see if there were any scratches, before turning back and promptly yelping at the grey paw swiped across his face. "Ow!

He looked at Sandkit in surprise when she actually complimented his technique, adding a small joke, and he couldn't help but smile back. When Dustkit commented, with a pout nonetheless, he grinned even harder. "Well, hey, at least if I play dirty, those pesky loners or Treeclan cats will know not to mess with us," He paused, and said, "I didn't mean to bite Sandkit that hard, really."

Dustkit sighed, not mad anymore. "Yeah, I know you didn't mean to hurt her. I just freak out. Sorry." He meowed, and he headbutted Lionkits cheek in affection before doing the same to Sandkit.

"All the loners and Treeclan cats wont stand a chance, and we can ALL go against them. Not just you, Lionkit. Me and Sandkit are good at fighting too, and with words." He meowed, grinning.

(ah, sorry I'm so far from my apprentice ceremony. Maybe one of you msg me to bring it up, I don't know.)

Although Lionkit wouldn't say it out loud, he was glad that both his siblings were willing to drop the issue now. "Eh, it's fine, Dustkit. Sure, you were acting a bit like a mom before, but I guess it just shows you care that much! Who would've thought." He meowed in a joking tone, following Dustkit and to give Sandkit an affectionate headbutt as well. Lionkit wasn't the best at apologizing, so hopefully Sandkit would accept this as one.

He snorted at Dustkit's proclamation. "Well, yeah! The three of us fighting against them would be unstoppable. They wouldn't even know what hit them."

"A MOM!" Dustkit yowled, mock furious. He couldn't help but laugh though.

"Right! We'd show them!" Dustkit meowed, grinning. "We are amazing. I hope we get to train together when we are aprentices."

[Sandpaw]

"Eh... I think Dustkit was acting more like a medicine cat!" Sandkit joked, sort of relieved when Dustkit finally stopped checking her tail.

As both of her other siblings headbutted her softly, Sandkit thought that she had to do the same. Softly nudging Dustkit on the cheek, then Lionkit, a little harder than Dustkit's, Sandkit smiled before meowed, "We better stick together! We will show all of the Clans who is the best of all of them! Side by side!"
