Lostkit listened to every word of the kit's story. In her mind she pictured a cat that seemed familiar in a way. It had soft long fur like herself but it was light cream with tabby markings and then olive green eyes. She tried to put a name to the cat but nothing popped up.
"Wow Fennelkit you are a great story teller! Oh and maybe I can save Fireclan someday, I mean I'm not from this clan and you're the only cat I've met. I know most cats aren't a fan of outsiders as Rainlight put it." she said standing up and now bouncing up and down.

"Thanks a whole lot," Fennelkit said sheepishly. "I didn't think I was that good.. Really, though... Thank you! Maybe when I become an elder I won't be so bad at telling stories.."
"I bet you can! You're smart enough. And that's dumb if they don't like you. You're super nice, and you'd never betray the clan or anything. I'll stand up for you if it comes to that, okay?" A fierce expression crossed the golden tom's face.

"You're very welcome! You will be the best story teller when you are an elder." she told him with a grin. "You really think that." she asked her smile growing wider. "And you would do that for me?" she asked him.
With out any kind of warning Lostkit jump at him hoping to land on him. "Thank you! Thank you so much!" she purred and gave a friendly lick to his cheek. "You're the best Fennelkit." she said to him.

"Oh!" Fennelkit hadn't expected to be pounced on, staring up at Lostkit before she licked his cheek. "Th-thank you.." he said quietly, feeling... weird. "I-it's really nothing though, heh.."
"F-feeling a lot more excitable now, huh?"

Lostkit quickly got off of him clearly noticing he was uncomfortable. "Im sorry." she quickly apologized about her actions. The white kitten nodded her head, smiling once again. She was getting more comfortable around the other kit.

"Oh, what, no- you're fine! It was fine." Fennelkit got up too, grooming his chest fur quickly. "Um, do you have any other questions? I bet I could answer them." It was best if they forgot the entire thing ever happened, he'd decided, and changing the subject was a good way to do that.

She slowly nodded her head still a little unsure. "Umm yeah what do you want your warrior name to be?" she asked him. She hasn't thought about her own but she was curious.

"Oh, uh... I don't know yet. I think I'll let the leader choose. Or maybe I'll think of something when I grow up! What about you?" Fennelkit couldn't think of anything that would go well with his name, anyway.

Lostkit thought for a few minutes and shrugged her shoulders. "I really don't know. The naming process here was different I think, where I came from I remember having one part." she said honestly.

"Hmmm..." Fennelkit stared at Lostkit for a while, "Well, you could be Lostsong? I don't know, it sounds nice." He shifted his gaze to the ground, feeling weirdly scared that he'd offend her. He didn't know why.

Lostsong? She thought it sounded pretty. "I like it, it sounds nice." she told him in all honesty. It sounded better then what any other cat would have thought. Something like Lostsoul, her soul wasn't lost. That would have offended her greatly, but Lostsong was great to her.

Relief washed over him. "Okay, phew. If you think of a better name, tell me. I can't think of how the song part would tie in.."
Fennelkit shook his head again. "Can you think of any names for me?"

She thought about Fennelkit's personality first. He is a very friendly cat and easy to talk to. "Fennelheart suits you I think, you're very kind and easy to talk to." she told him. Then she looked at his fur and eye color maybe flame, fire, or even splash would go good too. "Maybe Fennelflame or Fennelsplash, that suits you're fur color, and your blue eyes." she said she was unsure about the names she thought of. "I really don't know I'm bad at this." she said with a small frown.

"Oh, no! Those names are great!" Fennelkit purred loudly, "I especially like Fennelsplash. That was really helpful! You're good!" he said as reassuringly as he could manage. "Wouldn't it be neat if when we became warriors we would have names that we gave each other?"

Lostkit smiled proudly atf the tom kit. "Really, you like them?" she asked with a quiet purr. That would be cool if that happened she really like the name he suggested to her. "Yeah that would be cool." she said her smile not changing a bit.
