Falling feathers of the Wren (P)

[Fallpaw]

Wrenpaw

There was a gentle breeze today, Fallkits weather - because of his fur length that gives him trouble in the heat. 

He Took a long breath of the fresh air, content, before padding over to another kitten he could see. 

He'd never met this cat, and was curious. "Hello." Fallkit meowed, flicking his tail in greeting. "I'm Fallkit. What is your name?"

[Wrenpaw]

This was another kit who was double his size if not triple. Wrenkit was so small at this point that he was scared he would actually be mistaken for a... well a wren as his name implied. But this one seemed friendly enough, he wanted to know his name and he had started off with hi. What a nice clanmate.

"Hi!" Wrenkit replied, adding a nice smile which to the viewer looked very awkward and forced. "I'm Wrenkit, obviously." He purred, motioning to his body and coloration with a flick of his tail. "And I'm guessing you're named after the season?"

[Fallpaw]

"Hello Wrenkit. Nice name choice." Fallkit purred, and then nodded, "Yep, I am named after the Season of Fall."

Fallkit smiled at the tiny tom kit and tipped his head to the side. "What do you want your warrior name to be?" Fallkit asked. "And what role would you like in the clan?"

[Wrenpaw]

Wrenkit had recently had a difficult time thinking up a name that he would enjoy having in the future. Nothing really clicked entirely well with Wren but had come up with two he wouldn't mind having. "Well, I personally like Wrenfeather or Wrenfoot." He added with a shrug, sighing a bit when he realized his prefix didn't match many things.

"But a warrior I guess," He continued, answering the older kit's second question. "What about you? Striving to be a leader one day?" He purred, Wrenkit couldn't exactly imagine himself up there leading. Controlling an entire clan of cats seemed like a difficult job.

[Fallpaw]

Fallkit nodded at the ideas Wrenkit had. "Oh, I like Wrenfeather." He commented, sort of shyly. "But could I suggest an idea of like Wrenflight?" He murmured very quietly, thinking of how the small cat seemed to always be on the move.

"Just a warrior? That's good, I think that being a leader is way to... difficult?" Fallkit tried to find the right word, but couldn't so just settled for whatever came to mind.

"I think I'd like to just be a valued warrior for my skills and virtues." Fallkit meowed, thinking. Honestly he'd never givin the topic so much thought.

[Wrenpaw]

Wrenkit purred, "I mean, being valued for virtues sounds great and all, but I've never been the most athletic." In fact, Wrenkit had already found his strength, even in being barely a moon old. It was more his intellect that made him rather than being skilled in anything else. At least this is what his gut was currently telling him.

"I rely more on my brains at this point, oh and my looks of course."

[Fallpaw]

Fallkit nodded, watching as Wrenkit thought about what he'd like to be like.

"Oh, so you are very smart?" Fallkit commented, purring as Wrenkit added on about good looks. "Ah, yes. You are very handsome too." He humored the tom, but it was true. Even though small, Wrenkit had his own style and beauty.

"Do you know any other cats in Treeclan?" Fallkit asked.

((btw, I'm gonna probs be an apprentice soon, but we can still continue this, okay C:)

(( it's all good if we discontinue the thread after your ceremony, we can always remake one when he's apprentice aged as well, I personally never enjoyed roleplaying as something that wasn't up-to-date ))

Wrenkit purred at the other kit's response and agreement to his looks. "But yes, I do believe I'm more on the brainy side than the athletic side. Not that it's anything to brag about." He shrugged, being a warrior was about being tough and being able to survive. Even he knew this.

Fallkit then questioned if he knew any other cats in the clan, and in fact he did. Even if it was only two. "I've met two other cats in my social life. Olivekit and Fallenblaze. Fallenblaze being my sister." He replied before he opened his jaws to speak again, "What about you?"

[Fallpaw]

"Oh, I met Olivekit too, but not Fallenblaze. Is she - or he - nice?" He asked, smiling.

"Oh, I've met, well Olivekit, you, and myself. No one else." Fallkit laughed, realizing he was just antisocial.

"It was super amazing meeting you, Wrenkit. I hope we become good friends." Fallkit meowed, eyes warm. He really did like this Wrenkit and honestly thought they could be good friends.

[Wrenpaw]

Wrenkit purred and nodded, "Yeah, Fallenblaze seems cool, a bit temperamental but cool. And she's my family so that just adds to the greatness factor." Other than those cats Wrenkit really hadn't talked to anyone, but he wasn't bothered by it. Keeping his circle small seemed to be a good idea at the time. Less names to remember.

He then laughed a bit when Fallkit explained how ecstatic he was meeting Wrenkit, it was cute and Wrenkit had also had a good time. It was nice to talk to someone rather than be alone in one's own head. "Yeah, we should definitely do this again sometime. Hopefully when we are both apprentices and can roam the territory rather than just the camp."

[Fallpaw]

"Oh, a sister, that is great!" Fallkit purred, knowing he hadn't met anyone related to him.

"Yeah, I can't wait to do that, train with you."
Fallkit waved with his tail, not really wanting to leave. "I'll see you soon, yeah?" He asked as he padded away to the nursery, wanting to be ready for when he becomes an apprentice as it would be soon so he was going to prepare.

"Bye, Wrenkit."

((sorry for the leaving part, but I couldn't think of anything to wrap this up, I actually did enjoy rping with you, it's just that Fall is nearly an apprentice. I'm sorry))

Having family was nice, it was like the bond of blood held things together unknowingly. Like, even after you were gone you would still be there. Even cats who had passed to the next life in the clouds would eventually fade, like their memory was the only thing holding them where they were. And everyone would eventually be forgotten.

Fallkit then had to leave, he nodded and added a small awkward smile again, "I'll definitely see you around man," He laughed then added as he got up and began padding in the other direction, "See ya!"
