MudclawAmberflash didn't know too much about her late granddaughter, Brightwing. She knew that the poor child was stuck with siblings like Almondfire, who reminded her of her young self if she'd gotten worse instead of improving, and Aloepaw who needed to grow up, honestly. Her own siblings hadn't ever been that bad, and she wondered if the young she-cat would be missed by her family. Not that she believed that Hazelclaw and Pinyondapple wouldn't be broken up about it... But... Her grandchildren seemed a bit... Bitter and loveless, honestly. Now, there was one thing she knew. Brightwing had some sort of friendship in the past with a warrior by the name of Mudclaw. Given the tabby warrior's fate, someone needed to tell him before the news spread unfortunately. It was better to hear it from her, rather than from a blunt off-hand comment. She found the warrior in the camp, and she walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder. " You're Mudclaw, right? Can we talk?" She asked, doing her best to sound sensitive.

Mudclaw sat in the camp, his white-tipped ears pricked slightly as he listened to the footsteps and indistinct chit-chat of his clanmates. He had decided to go out and get some sunlight, seeing as it was still warm, and just hope that he wasn't approached by anyone. Unfortunately for him, he was. The sound of pawsteps began sounding louder and closer and there was suddenly a tap on his shoulder and a voice. Mudclaw's ear twitched and he let out a soft sigh, turning around to see who it was. "Yes," he answered the first question, feeling slightly uncomfortable when he was asked to talk, but he nodded slowly anyway, "I guess..." he didn't bother asking why. MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

Amberflash sat down next to him. She eyed him carefully, and gathered that he didn't want to talk to her. She could relate at times, honestly. She decided to go blunt. "I have important news to tell you, that will probably affect you personally. You want it straight up, or my attempt at being delicate?" She asked.
She imagined it would be the former, which would hurt a lot probably. The latter wasn't much better, no matter what cats seemed to think, in her opinion. She wished that she didn't have to tell him this, but the fact was that it was said and done and nothing could be changed. Fate had sneered cruelly upon her grandchildren and their loved ones would suffer as well.
She wondered if he'd be hurt more or less by the fact that he actually got to know what happened to her, rather than be left wondering what had happened to the latest disappeared Fireclanner. Like her parents and siblings.

-replying to what you said on the bio here...they totally should see eachother again, we're going to break my son- Mudclaw shuffled away from the other warrior slightly when she sat down, looking down at his white paws. His green eyes flickered towards her at the next statement, however, and a look of confusion and intrigue. "Umm..." he said quietly before shaking his head and sitting up straighter. "Blunt," he said simply, guessing that would be the shorter answer. -wowthisisshort- MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

((Ahahah we're here to ruin everyone
also yes they should meet up again in the future. I'd like for some time to pass first, however.))
Amberflash sighed. "Alright. You know my granddaughter Brightwing, right? She's dead. We can't know for sure, but she probably got killed by a hawk." She said without any change of pitch in her voice. She carefully watched Mudclaw for his reaction, since she didn't know him... She couldn't anticipate what it could possibly be.

-same, it'd be more realistic- Mudclaw looked back towards his paws when the other cat began speaking again, slightly confused as he nodded at her question. However, at the next statement, he stopped moving completely and just stared forwards. A bunch of thoughts filled his head... was this really true? Afterall, he didn't know who this cat was, they could be lying for all he knew. Then again, that would explain why he hadn't seen her in so long. His ears slowly flattened until they were pressed to his head and he opened his mouth, uttering just a small "okay," before turning his head to the side and hiding his face. MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

Amberflash watched as what little life and energy seemed to exist in Mudclaw simply... Drained away. She sighed. " ... I'll leave you alone now." She murmured, standing up and moving to walk away. She'd done her part and... He didn't seem like he wanted her company. She wasn't the type to impose on strangers really and attempt to extend kindness. That sounded more like a Fangshadow-y thing. Though, she wasn't sure that was still true, given how lifeless he'd seemed after Silverwhisker's passing. ((WELP Amberflash did her part. Seriously, I couldn't think of another reason that was normal for Amberflash to stay. Now to let Mudclaw stew in his grief I guess?

Mudclaw didn't answer when the warrior announced she was leaving- he wasn't even listening at all. Just staring blankly at the ground, although he had begun to shake a little then slowly lowered himself to the ground and pressed his face into it. MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS
