-most of this wont make sense and it's all drabble i'm sorry whoever has to read this- Mudclaw sighed quietly as he lay, curled up in the thick fog. He felt rather comforted knowing that cats rarely ventured there due to fear, so he was able to... well... exist without being disturbed or disrupted, That would just cause him to have to speak and possibly make relationships- those only lead to disappointment. The young warrior let out a small whimper as he curled up tighter, he had finally been told that the last person to have ever felt positively towards him was gone. Now he had no one. And although the thought of absolute solitude seemed inviting, it had actually just proven to be disappointing. Mudclaw sniffled slightly as he flattened his ears to his head and let out another low whine, twitching at a sound. He wasn't quite sure what the noise was, but he growled anyway, "Leave," he said to whatever it was, voice cracking. MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

Swanfrost hadn't cried when she heard that Brightwing was dead. She hadn't cried since the day her father left her on the border to what she still couldn't call 'home'. But she had felt the pain. Her stomach was in a knot all the time, and she found it hard to find any pleasures in the things she did anymore. Willowspirit dropped off the face of the earth and Brightwing was carried out of it; Swanfrost was truly alone.
She hadn't exactly realized where her paws were taking her until she had arrived. The fog was thick and heavy, and standing here brought back unwanted memories of Willowspirit. Swanfrost's body was stiff, and she felt the buildup of tears. She knew they wouldn't fall. They never could.
She was about to leave, although she jumped in surprise when she was told to do so. Perhaps if it wasn't for the fact that she knew the warrior, or that his voice had cracked so pitifully, but either way she didn't yell at him. "How rude." She stated calmly, voice void of emotion.

Mudclaw shrugged, wiping his wet face on his fur to try and dry it at the sound of Swanfrost's voice. "You're one to talk about rudeness," he stated simply, quickly shaking his head afterwards and standing to move towards a further corner, away from the other cat. "Forget I said anything, can't you just leave me alone?" he sighed, sniffling again as he curled back up into a ball, back facing Swanfrost. -thiswasshortimsorry- MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

Swanfrost merely scoffed at his petty insult, not on the least bit offended. "Jeez, what's got your fur in a knot?" She stated, quickly withdrawing. She knew exactly what. "Sorry, you don't have to... answer.."
Swanfrost, despite his wish for her to go away, sat down slowly, her tail wrapping neatly around her paws. "No, I don't think I will." She murmured, awkwardly looking around. She wasn't exactly sure what she wanted.

Mudclaw flinched at the question he was asked- Swanfrost knew very well what had got his 'fur in a knot'. "I wasn't going to answer, anyway," He said simply, voice wavering slightly, although he tried to sound irritated. The warrior tensed slightly when Swanfrost sat down, stating she was staying. He let out a small grunt and shook his head, taking in a semi-deep breath and holding it. MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

Swanfrost remained silent, staring off into the distance, deep in thought. She wasn't sure what she was supposed to say. Mudclaw and her had spoken, what, once? The only reason she stayed was because they both knew Brightwing. "How... How are you?" The words came out awkward, and it was clear she was uncomfortable asking.

Mudclaw let out the breath he had been holding and began to speak again, "My wellbeing is none of your concern," He continued, flicking an ear, "but if you must know, I guess I'm sad and alone... and a-" He shook his head and let out a frustrated noise. "Doesn't matter," He sighed, burying his pink nose in his fur again. He didn't want to open up to Swanfrost. MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

Swanfrost inched a little closer towards him to hear him better, curling up a few tail lengths away. She looked even smaller, pressing herself into a tiny ball and ticking her nose under her thin tail. "Don't hold back Mudclaw, you don't have anything to loose." She muttered, her tone remaining grumpy, as always.

Mudclaw flinched again, turning round to look at Swanfrost, his green eyes slightly red-rimmed from crying. "Fine then, if you must know," he said before waiting a few seconds to continue, "I'm afraid. I'm scared. Now I have no one because everyone I meet either immediately hates me or is just going to abandon me later on. You're right, I do have nothing to lose and to be honest, I'm kind of thankful for that because I have no thing or no cat who'll leave me again, whether through death or choice," his voice raised slightly as he continued speaking, becoming slightly choked off as he spoke all in one breath, "There, now leave before this 'conversation' becomes long enough to remember," he growled slightly, tears forming in his eyes again. Swanfrost stared at his back as he spoke, her ears flattened against her head. She stood when he was done, taking a few steps in the direction of home before turning around again. She swallowed, opening her mouth and closing it again. A hard look came over her face, and she turned around fully and began walking away. Mudclaw hadn't even asked her the same question. He didn't deserve her pity. He didn't deserve to know that they were in the exact same situation. He deserved to die a long, painful, lonely death. Just like her.
