@sebstan
Calista had had a rough last couple of moons, and had reserved herself for quite a while. She spent half her energy hiding from her brother and spent the other half feeling bad because she blamed herself for her other brother leaving. She had thought she was doing something right, she was doing something right, but then Thor had to leave before she could follow through with her plans and leave so that he didn't have to. She had spent moons and moons hunting down a place to settle, and after all that time this had been the first place she could settle without bringing a whole bunch of trouble with her. Of course, then her brothers happened to find the same place and she had to go through the trouble of explaining why she faked her death without any real clues that she was still alive. She hadn't thought she would be able to face the kingdom, to keep a smile on for which ever prince her father thought it fit for her to marry after she thought her brother died. It was selfish of her, and it was one of the only selfish acts she had committed. Trying to fix that wrong brought more pain to her than she thought possible, but she still kept herself together for her brothers, so that she could fix the mistake she hadn't been able to for so long. Somehow her brother had took her not being dead worse than he had probably taken the fact that she was dead, and she couldn't blame her. It was a betrayal she wouldn't imagine surviving if it was the other way around. It was a miracle the other brother didn't see it the same way. But he should. It wasn't right for her to get off so easy. And then she had to go and get said brother to hate her too in hopes that he would go to the hurting brother instead of her and help him. UGH!
Thinking of it would only bring back memories of the past few moons, and she was sort of trying to cover her problems rather than relive them. She turned her head and gave a warm, welcoming smile that was programmed into her from birth as she became attentive enough notice the telltale signs that someone was nearby. She had become a good enough of a tracker in her moons to be able to tell when another cat was near by, whether they were actively trying not to be noticed or not. "Hello," she greeted.
(Wow, that first part is confusing... and long... sorry. Oh yeah, by the way, she's Thor and Loki's sister in their version of the story.)

For the last few moons, Faeryn had been around a good part of the world, or what she thought, was a good part of the world.
The feline had been sheltered all her life, never allowed to do anything a princess wouldn't do. Thankfully, because of the hidden island she had lived on, there were never wars to worry about - though her Uncle thought otherwise
He was a good cat, and a very important one, aswell. He kept trained warriors in case there ever was an invasion, and they were in tip-top shape, the best of the best.
Now, as a young girl Faeryn would dream of being apart of the warriors, training until she couldn't possibly stand up any longer. And she had tried to for a while, but her mother did not approve; saying she needed to use her skills in a castle and not on a battlefield.
Faeryn defied the Queen, her uncle agreeing to train her in secret, as the best warrior he would ever teach. And that she became, though her mother would never be able to appreciate her daughters strength.
Faeryn did not regret many things, she only regretted two.
She regretted the decision of not giving her uncle a farewell before leaving the island; and she regretted the decision of leaving her mother and kingdom to believe her dead, either swallowed by the silver serpent or snatched up by a preying eagle.
And she could never right those wrongs, there wasn't any way to return to her home.
A simple 'hello', brought her from her thoughts, turning to find a pretty she-cat smiling at her - though the princess could tell something was troubling the other. That was something she was good at, knowing others emotions and distinguishing true from false feelings.
"Hello." Faeryn greeted back, accent ringing in her ears. She was more aware of it as she began to meet new cats, wondering if they heard it the same way. "Is there something bothering you?" Cats were usually straightforward in her home, she couldn't think why it would be any different here.
( no no, your fine ! also, im realising faeryn is very similar to wonder woman... but i swear it wasn't meant to be that way haha )

Calista was a bit shocked at the question, but she shook her head without showing any of that shock. "No, nothing wrong, at least, nothing I should burden you with." she said. She had never really noticed other cat's accents before, in Asgaurd everyone had spoken differently it seemed, so she didn't see why it should make a difference to her whether someone spoke like her (in a British accent) or not (like most cats in the area). This cat, though, had an accent she couldn't quite place. She hadn't heard it before, and it was definately not like the other cat's around here. She took that to mean the cat had just arrived and acted accordingly. "You're new here, yes? Welcome to the area. I'm Calista, but people call me Cali." she greeted politely as she had been basically trained to from birth.

"Very well then," she meowed, not wanting to push any further and come off as annoying.
She noticed a pretty blossoming flower to the side, it's lush green petals curling to reveal a soft pink inside. It was distracting, though she went on to answer the question.
"Uhm- no, no. I'm from here. Thank you, though. And Calista? I like your name, it suits you very well." Faeryn smiled, forcing to look back at the she-cat. "My name is Faeryn, Faeryn Lykke." She gave her full name, realising too late how that might have been a mistake. The girl wanted to leave her past, not live it; but it was too late to take it back. "I prefer Faeryn, though; I'm told my full name is hard to pronounce."

Calista chuckled. She could always tell when someone was lying to her, or covering the full truth. "Nice yo meet you Faeryn, although I do doubt what you said about being from here. Don't worry, I'm not from here either, I won't have you remember where you're from if you don't want to," she said, "I know that remembering can bring pain."

Her face crinkled in defiance, but slowly ebbed away to reveal a guilty cat. "I don't know anyone - but - please don't tell anyone. It's very important that my homeland stays a secret." Faeryn sighed, looking to the sky. It was a stormy blue, waves angrily painted across in contrasting colors. Sharp, grey clouds pierced the sky, groaning for attention.
"It will be raining soon - do you know anywhere to avoid it?"

Calista nodded, "Of course I won't." she confirmed. "I know very well how that feels."
Looking up at the sky, she nodded. "We still have a little bit before the rain starts up," she said, being a fair judge based on the fact that her brother could control storms, "I have a place we can get to before that," she said, leading the way to her den. Their was a cave two could easily take shelter in that was closer, but the cave held far to many memories for her.

"Thank you for your kindness." She purred, nodding deeply in gratitude.
"Great! Lead the way!" Exclaimed Faeryn in far too much joy, nevermind the fact that Cali had already begun the path to the cave. She followed behind silently, tail moving side to side as she expected any moment now to feel raindrops pelting her skin; the thunder growing louder.
It wasn't that she was trying to avoid the rain, she actually enjoyed it, catching a cold countless times as a child when refusing to retreat into the sheltered palace walls. But now wasn't a good time to prance about in a storm, she still needed to find out many things about the place in which she now 'resided in', you could say.

Calista made it to the tree that concealed her den as a light drizzle started up. She didn't mind the rain, but she had a feeling that this rain would invance into a storm, and she didn't want to get absolutely drinched when she knew her pelt took forever to dry off. As she entered the den that had plenty of space for two cats, she sort of hope but the other cat hadn't followed all the way. As she saw that the other cat was behind her, she offered the cat a mouse from the small pile that she always had stocked. "Welcome to my den," she said.

"Oh no thank you. But thank you, really." She mewed, declining the lovely offer, having already eaten earlier that morning. Observing the den she was invited into, Faeryn thought it to be very small. The cat was used to the the wide and very decorated rooms in her home, and she'd always prefer to be free and sleeping under the stars. However, the small den was a nice change.
"I love it!" Exclaimed the girl. She wasted no time to find a nice spot by the entrance of Cali's den, sitting and facing the she-cat with a curious expression on her face. "Cali," started off Faeryn, voice serious. "What is your favorite thing about this earth?"

Calista nodded and placed the mouse back in the pile. She kept herself smiling as their talk moved past formalities that Shevardnadze didn't really need to think about into an acctual conversation that she had to pay attention to. "What is my favorite thing about this Earth?" she repeated the question thoughtfully. The real answer to that question was something she wasn't willing to go into, or even admit to herself, so she chose her next favorite thing, "Ignorance." she said simply and queen vaugly.

"Well, that is, nice?" She replied, confused. Everyone had their own preferences, she guessed, and it wasn't her place to judge.
The clouds had finally begun to weep. It was quiet sobbing at first, then a full-on temper tantrum. The wind was blowing away from them, the rain thankfully not entering the den.

Calista chuckled, "Sorry, I should probably expand on that. I like the fact that others are so ignorant. I know most other realms aren't so ignorant, and I honestly prefer some of those realms to this, but one of my favorite things about this realm is that they don't know about magic, they don't know about higher powers. Some of them think their ancestors die and become stars. I like the simplicity of the life that comes because of it." she bit her lip slightly, "Sorry, my past is complicated, feel free for calling me crazy for believing in magic and other realms."

Faeryn found herself nodding along at her company's words, though she only related to a portion of what she was saying. "No, I... understand a small bit of where you're coming from. And, I too, believe in magic. I'm no stranger to the peculiar." She chuckled, swiping a paw over an itch in her ear. "I had an odd past aswell, and it is not my place to judge others for their past. I am only interested in the future, however, and where it will bring me."

Calista nodded. "How very noble of you," she said, not disagreeingly though. "I find that a cat's past often effects their future."
