It did not really bother the Turkish Angora that the clan moved many moons ago. In fact, she was down for the change of location! Fireclan could have the old Rockclan territory is they wanted! Rockclan had a larger territory than ever, and cats were learning how to swim - something that Crevicelight was able to do, but not yet fully master. Being in the cliffs was home, and it gave the warrior a belonging with her name. Crevice. There were crevices everywhere. Not to mention that she craved adventure and exploring, so she thought to venture to somewhere many in her clan have yet to have the courage to venture - the wrecked ship. She would have to get close to the new Treeclan borders, and her pelt was twitching with excitement. She never explored this part of the territory yet! Just wait until Cloverstar gave her a new apprentice! On the cliffs, the mackeral tabby navigated, testing her weight and running around the loose ends. If anything, a tumble down would be a story to tell the kits anyways! But she then got onto Shell Beach, close to the border, stopped by the ship. She did not know what was in there, other than it was something twoleg-related, meaning she should stay away, but she didn't. "I'm queen of this ship now!" she declared, taking in a large whiff of the air. Salty.
can I just say that an 11 hour shift is just WOW? I hope you got your deserved breaks and stuff! c: Wrenpaw ✿

As an apprentice Wrenpaw now had a new found freedom, that being his ability to roam the territory and really explore. Usually he would've stayed closer to the camp but he had heard of a beach and was itching to see it. The tom had never seen a body of water before, unless puddles after rain counted, so when the beach came into view he was definitely not disappointed.
Although something else also caught his eye, along with his ear. At first he turned his head to see a ship, a huge ship that split the shore in half. But when he looked closer he also was surprised to see another cat, and from the scent he was getting it wasn't of his clan. Trotting over to the ship but being careful to pay attention to the scent markers he mewed, "Hello up there?"
He wasn't sure what clan this cat was from, if she was even from a clan at all. But for the most part she seemed harmless enough. She was hollering all alone anyways, maybe she'd like some company.
(( im not actually sure where the border is haha, is the ship the border? ))

Wind was blowing, and it was fun to be somewhere unfamiliar. It was like an adventure, and she loved adventures! Crevicelight heard someone down below, and looked down from the edge. It was a light brown tom; she did not recognize him, but she did not care. They were at the borders after all! And what if there were a group of cats who already claimed the ship as theirs? She could be their stowaway! "Hi!" she responded back, before disappearing out of sight. Crevicelight hopped off the ship and landed on the sand, not yet used to the texture. "Do you think this place is haunted? I wonder what happened to the twolegs."
let's just assume that it is (: ✿

For a minute Wrenpaw lost site of the other cat after her initial "hi", which made him a bit weary and he immediately began glancing around. He still had no idea whether this cat was hostile or not and if he couldn't see them it made him ten times more uneasy. But to his relief the she-cat soon came into his vision again, this time jumping from the boat and landing in the sand as he was; only on the other side of the scent line.
Padding over in her direction, all the while keeping his wits about him, he listened to what she was saying. Something about the ship being haunted, although he was not entirely familiar with what haunted meant he had heard of it in cat terms but never with the two-legs. But upon pondering the idea he figured if the clans had an afterlife the two-legs might as well.
Shrugging as he now came face to face with the other cat he mewed, "Erm... doubtable." His communications skills already beginning to fail him. "If the ship came in contact with the shore, don't you think the inhabitants would've also done the same?" Unless the boat had sank, but then again he figured even water wasn't powerful enough to drag something so large back from the deep.

'If the ship came in contact with the shore, don't you think the inhabitants would've also done the same?' Crevicelight was stumped on that question. She frowned, staring intently towards the ship, trying to come up with some sort of remark. "I mean... I guess," she started, still trying to figure her words. "That's like how we found this place, and now we're here!" "But what I do not get is where the twolegs went. Did they just leave here to go to the twoleg place? That's kind of far for them, I think." As fun as it would have been for the ship to be haunted, the stranger did have a reasonable point. "What's your name anyways? Mine is Crevicelight."

Wrenpaw snorted and nodded, only Wrenpaw hadn't been shipwrecked.
The other cat then inquired about him rather than the ship, and mentioned that her name was Crevicelight. It was an elegant name, had a light and airy feel to it. "I'm W-Wrenpaw." He started, his tongue seeming to trip over his words. For a minute had stood and said nothing, just staring awkwardly at the other cat before his uneven amber gaze darted to his paws. "From Treeclan... a-and you?"
(( AH sorry short ))

Wrenpaw was a pretty name. Like a bird, and considering how he just stumbled over his name, she assumed that was a reasoning to his name. Flying with the wind. Or maybe it was his coat that resembled the wren. She was not really sure since she tended not to really observe what she was actually hunting. "Well, that's a pretty name you got there Wrenpaw," she smiled. She did not notice the awkward staring the apprentice was giving. Rather, she was still intrigued over his name. It was really different than a typical Rockclan name, but bird names did seem to work with Treeclan! "I'm Rockclan, but might I ask - why are you here alone? Shouldn't you have a warrior around you?" Although Crevicelight was mainly fun and games, she was starting to have a better understanding to her duties, especially looking out for others - even if they were of another clan. What if Wrenpaw got hurt or something out here? She also did not want to be held responsible or be held as an alibi for the apprentice. She shook her head. "But oh well, we're both here now! Do you want to explore the ship with me? Or should we explore this beach instead?" She loved the salty smell of the ocean, and knew that she would eventually challenge herself to swim. If Iceclan could do it, why can't the other clans?
length doesn't really matter - as long as you give something for the person to go off of! c: ✿

Immediately the whole 'shouldn't a warrior be with you?' question threw him off. Frankly he hadn't even thought of that. There wasn't exactly any clan feuding going on at the moment so he wasn't entirely worried about getting injured, and since he had been 'put on hold' for a mentor there wasn't really any warrior that he had to drag with him. "Well erm, I just wanted to explore?." He trailed, shrugging the slightest bit and looking as innocent and naive as possible.
Although it wasn't long before the Rockclan warrior changed the subject, putting Wrenpaw at ease again. She had mentioned exploring the ship, which didn't sound like too good of idea if he didn't want to injure himself so he figured he would leave that for another day. Possibly a day when he was a tad bit older. So he replied, "exploring the beach would be cool, I've never seen such an expansive body of water!"
((sorry for the long response, college has been kicking my butt and im not even positive if this is considered a post bump or not. just yell at me if im not supposed to be doing this haha)

Crevicelight watched him when he said that he just wanted to explore. So did she! She grinned when Wrenpaw mentioned that he was willing to check out the beach. Frankly, she loved exploring, but it was better with a friend at times. "Well, then lead the way, explorer!" she called out.

Crevicelight had left it up to Wrenpaw to lead, which had immediately caught him off guard. Luckily enough he was quick to recover and shook off his surprise, a small smile now beginning to creep across his jaw as he trotted towards the water; making sure he stayed on his side of the border as he did so.
Upon reaching the water's edge the light-brown tabby reached out a paw, unsheathing a claw and dragging it through the water. It was crisp and cool, and as the water ventured outward away from the two cats it became darker; harder to see into. Drawing his attention away from the shining mass he then turned to Crevicelight beside him, "Can you tell me anything about it?" He mewed, motioning to the water with a flick of his tail.

Crevicelight had fun following Wrenpaw. It was sort of like training an apprentice, only Wrenpaw was not her's. Oh well. She did not mind. It was a while since she trained her own anyways. When Wrenpaw asked about the water, she stopped to look at what he probably was asking. "Well, the twolegs probably traveled far to get here," she started. "So I think that maybe it gets darker the further we are?" The warrior looked towards Treeclan, inspired by the trees. "It's sort of like how the trees look darker up close but those father are lighter? Because of how far they are from one another. But I think for the water, the farther you are, the darker." She shrugged. "What do you think about it? Maybe there's more cats out there like us! Maybe there's more clans and stuff from where this ship came from."
