She knew, if not by her mentor, then by her mentor's mentor she would get scolded for allowing a kit to get hut on her watch, however close in age they were.

Firekit looked down towards the ground. It seemed somewhat high up, but perhaps that was only because he had never climbed up such a distance before. Part of him felt excited to be climbing. He liked being up off the ground and being able to look down at everything for once rather than having to look up. "Its up to you if we climb more" he said "I think im getting the hang of this, just a little bit nervous it all".

Firekit decided it would be safer to jump down from the tree, not wanting to accidentally either of them to fall and get hurt. He climbed down to the level at which Shadowpaw had climbed, and then continued downwards until he reached the ground once again. "I think it might be safer to not go much higher, I dont have much experience climbing" he said "can you see anything up there that looks like an interesting place to go next?".

"NELLA FANTASIA IO VEDO UN MONDO GUISTO" Shadowpaw scanned the area. She saw a large boulder, with a hole in it as if it were hollowed out, farther down along the stream. She hopped down from her branch and rushed over to it. The entrance was grown over in a veil of moss, and it didn't seem like anyone had been there in a very many moons. She pushed aside the mossy curtain and crept inside once her eyes adjusted. The stone floor had a hole in it along the side of the stream, she could see glistening of the water from out of the shadow, and a small hole in the top of the rock let in enough light for her to see. The apprentice turned around and stuck her head out. She blinked in the bright light that greeted her, and exited. She sat next to the entrance.

Firekit followed Shadowpaw after she had climbed down from the tree over to a large boulder further down the stream. As they approached closer to the boulder he saw that it was hollow, with an entrance veiled with overgrown moss leading to the inside. He followed Shadowpaw inside. There was a hole on the side of the boulder as well , through which he could see the stream flowing past them. Shadowpaw observed the cave-like structure for a few moments. Firekit took in the details of the hollowed out section as well. Then Shadowpaw decided to exit the cave, and he followed her back outside. "Thats cool. What do you think made those holes in the boulder?" he asked, interested in what she thought about it "I cant imagine how such a rock could form". He poked his head back in through the moss, still interested in the cave inside.
