I've wasted time, I've wasted breath Calista froze at Thor's words. "Selfish I may be, but it is you that is spoiled. Thor Odinson, you do not know me. We may have shared parents and a pretty little childhood, but nothing more. Do not pretend otherwise. I am a completely different cat now and am in no way a child. I have traveled through 13 realms and have been banned from three and locked up in two. I am in no way your trusting and kind sister. It would do you well to remember that and not bring out the side of me that's probably killer more cats that you've met." she said cooly before turning to Loki and applying the herbs to his paw, not bothering to warn that the marigold may sting.
Calista was absolutely not in the mood to take an insult. For the past moon she had been on the edge of going over, and she didn't want to. Her words weren't a threat, they were a warning. A plea to help her disguised in harsh words.

Loki had returned just to catch the end of an angry sentence, and he could see the anger in Thor's eyes. When Cali turned to him in a rush, he flinched but remained as she applied the marigold, then he winced as it stung a short bit. He could feel the tension in the air, and his fur stood on end on this back. If he could do something to ease the tense moment, he would, but he knew not what to do. When the marigold had been applied, Loki bought his paw back to his side, carefully placing it on the ground and adding no pressure. His ears flicked, and his eyes glanced at each of this adoptive siblings. He truly loved both of them, they were his world, no matter what he made them think, but at this moment, he would rather walk away. He started a sentence, waiting for the both of them to turn their combined force of glares to him. "I do not think this is the time to fight," he said in his distinct accent, his green gaze softer than theirs. 177 © to Vel

SEARCHING IN THE DARKNESS WE ARE CREATURES OF THE NIGHT RUNNING FROM THE DAY The wise words of his only brother barely reached Thor, ears twitching in recognition. Although his gaze remained harsh, he decided it best not to blow up, granting his sibling the last words of the fight. He'd been through such hell, however, he wouldn't complain. The uneducated feline could bicker with him all she wanted, whatever made her feel such an idiotic superiority over him.
He smiled, though it didn't reach his eyes, as he slowly pivoted towards Loki's direction - the tension heavy in the air. "I really must be going," he excused himself; blinking once and then turning from the two. He walked with a proper posture, and pace; the urge to get from Calista's death state high.

I've wasted time, I've wasted breath Calista turned to Loki as Thor left. "Im sorry Loki, I just can't let myself forgive quite yet. The side effects would not be worth it." she said, shaking her hea, then remembering the kit asleep in her den that she had to get back to. "I've acctually got to go too. I'm sorry." Her tone was much softer as she spoke, and she herself was surprised that it held the quality of the worried mother. She didn't worry to much about that, she would be able to let the small kit go when the time came to it. She'd have to. Gathering the bundle of herbs she had collected, she picked them up and began into the Plains.

Loki watched as both his siblings felt, their words ringing in his ears. He sat for a moment, acting a bit like a dumbfounded child as he rubbed his sore paw on his leg. Then finally, he furrowed his brow and looked at the ground, thinking over what little had happened. It seemed Cali was drifting away, unless she already had, and the two brothers had no idea what to do. Loki wondered what would happen if he completely let her go. She'd probably enjoy it, and she seemed to completely want to avoid him now. 98 © to Vel
