Rot Arabella walked into the Deathclan territory, loosing a small breath. It had been so long and she had left with no warning to anyone. Of course, the first thing she did upon arriving back was join Deathclan, fulfilling a long overdue promise. So that left her to find the first cat she wanted to see upon coming back. Stinger. Arabella grinned as she finally saw said cat and ran up to him with a huge smile. "Stinger!" she called, over joyed at seeing him again.

Why? Why did she go? Where did she go? Rot wanted to forget about Arabella and move on, but it pained him to ever even think about her. He thought that she was different, that she would actually stay with him, but Rot guessed he thought wrong.
Attempting to groom his patchy fur, Rot stopped to squint slightly as he thought he saw something familiar. No... Was it- Rot's icy blue eyes widened as Arabella called his name and ran over to him. "A- A- Ara?" Rot stammered. Was she really back!?!? "You- really? Back?" Rot was stumbling over his words, not even knowing what he was even trying to say, but then, he did. "No." Rot meowed, looking away, his voice hard, "You left. You left me." Rot looked back at Arabella, his eyes full of pain. "Why?"

Arabella winced slightly, knowing the conversation would probably be a tough one. She honestly hadn't expected Stinger's reaction, but she knew she should have. It was completely reasonable, and with all his past abandonment issues... she should have at least told him where she was going. Yes she was in a hurry, but she should have found time to tell him. "I'm sorry, I had to leave in a hurry and didn't even think about other cats here. My mum..." she inhaled deeply. It was only fair that Stinger knew the reason she had left, "My mum had an illness. She died. My brother, who I nearly killed on sight myself, came and when I heard the news that my mom was sick I was in to much of a frenzy to slow down and tell anyone."

Rot sighed heavily. He knew what it was like to lose a family member, editing especially ones you love most. "Do you have your father still?" Rot asked quietly, avoiding eye contact with Arabella.
(My muse is trying to leave me right now...)

Arabella shrugged. "Somewhere out there, yes. He left when my brothers were quite young. I had to stay away longer to make sure they knew everything they needed to survive on their own." (Mines gone)

Still not wanting Arabella to think that she got him back, Rot meowed, "Ara. I am not sure if I... Well, know you." He couldn't fully explain of how he felt. He was glad she was back, but then furious that she left him. "I mean, I still love you but..." Rot let out a deep sigh, "I just don't know..."

Ara nodded slowly. "No, of course not." she responded a bit distantly. "I completely understand," she added after a moment, bringing herself back to attention. She, after all, had felt the same way in a different place and time. "It's completely my fault and I completely understand. It is a lot for you to sort out and I could have at least told you where I was going."

Rot couldn't contain himself any more. Rot flattened his ears and thrust his head close to Arabella's. Letting out a small sob, Rot meowed, "I missed you." His voice quivering slightly, Rot meowed, "When I lost you... I lost myself."
(Wow... Rot is losing it right now... He is not the tough guy I created...)

(Then Arabella has successfully opened him up.)
Arabella nodded gently, stroking Rot soothingly with her tail. "It's all right. I'm here now. There's a lot to sort through, but right now all that matters is that I'm back," she said in a soothing tone, knowing that they were either the perfect or worst words for the moment.

(Yay! Congrats!)
Rot slightly flinched as he felt Ara lightly stroke him with her tail. Normally, he would find this slightly annoying, but this time it was calming. She came back. That was all that matter right now. Sighing a little bit, Rot murmured, "I missed you so much. But your right, you had to leave. You had..." Rot didn't want to say 'family issues'. It really made him think of his own. His father dead and he mother horrid.

Arabella nodded slightly, "An emergency to attend to." she supplied, understanding why Stinger would not want to say the word family. After all, his was so terrible to him.

Rot finally met Arabella's eyes, "Yeah, that." He was glad that she understood that he didn't want to say it. If his mother wasn't so... No. Rot shouldn't think that way, Ara was finally back and he shouldn't be thinking about his mother, he should be thinking about the present. "I so glad your back..." Purred Rot, his eyes being filled with warmth.

Arabella nodded slowly. "Yeah. Yeah, I'm glad to be back," she said, giving a warm smile. It wasn't that she hated her family but... yeah, she hated her family. The only reason she had really went to help out her mom was for the sake of childhood memories, and she nearly killed her brother on sight when he came to warn her. Still though, Stinger's family problems were worse. "I missed you a lot."

Rot purred loudly and his head against Arabella's. Rot quietly spoke, "I'm sorry of what happens to your mother..."
(Sorry for the inactivity...)

Arabella nodded. "It's alright. Just a posibility of a past life now gone." she responded.
