Aloepaw's claws curled into the earth, and he looked as if he were about to throw himself at Amberflash in rage. Perhaps he would. He was honestly considering it. The words she said flew right past his ears, not of them sticking in him to make any sense.
Ha! Lessons? She just wanted to change him, turn Aloepaw into some goody-two-paws for her own personal gain. Whether that be to clear her son's reputation at having horrible children, or spout about her skills as a mentor, Aloepaw didn't care. He just knew she had some sneaky reason behind all of this. And if she really didn't, then she was after the satisfaction of watching a cat she didn't like fail, time and time again.
Amberflash was horrible. Nothing would ever convince him otherwise. And there wasn't anyone who could punish her, or anyone besides him who realized she deserved punishment for what she'd done to him. So much humiliation and pain, and she got away with it all. She was getting away with it now, and she always would.
"Stop putting me down!"[/font] he snarled, whipping around, eyes still pools of golden further. "I found ways to catch the prey instead of letting it get away! I brought back food for my Clan, and yet that doesn't matter to you! Instead I have to do things perfectly, like everyone else in FireClan, or I'm not good enough! That's your excuse this time, huh, for keeping me behind?! That if I don't be exactly like you, I've failed?! I caught the prey, so what does it matter if I took my time, or did something else wrong?! I get it, nothing I ever do it good enough for you, or you just never want to see me become a warrior!" None of his words had much thought, they were just spat out to be judged by Amberflash's cruel gaze. Aloepaw's emotions were too crazy to allow him consideration for what he was saying. He just went with it, too enraged to care. Nothing would even change the situation. Amberflash wouldn't give him a second chance today. Maybe she never would, if he proved to be a "good" hunter.
He would never be a warrior.
Aloepaw should have known that the moment her locked eyes with his grandmother the day of his apprentice ceremony.
The Maine Coon spun around again, not able to look at that she-cat anymore, or he really would attack her. She was horrible. Absolutely horrible. He couldn't stand it anymore. He couldn't stand her.
Aloepaw had such big dreams of changing FireClan, with Almondfire at his side, and a horde of followers behind him. But that dream's biggest obstacle at the moment was Amberflash. And it was an obstacle he didn't know how to get rid of without any dire consequences.
He didn't know what to do anymore.
He just knew he was done with her.
"I want a new mentor!" he sneered over his shoulder, though still did not look at Amberflash. "I want someone else. I don't want you to ever talk to me again! I hate you!"
Without even waiting for another lecture, Aloepaw took off into the tall grass of FireClan territory. He didn't know where he was going, but he just wanted to get as far away from her, and from FireClan as possible.
{tis post was just bad writing in general, and i could fix and make Aleo sound a little smarter, but ehhh. End thread? I'm thinking of kicking his butt to non-clan territory for a little bit so he can cool down xD
