I've wasted time, I've wasted breath Calista was a distance away from her den as she attempted to avoid her brothers, which, in turn, meant she was attempting to avoid her life. She didn't live in the same den with them, she didn't even know where their dens were, but she seemed to run into them everywhere in her attempts to keep away. It wasn't that she was mad at them or anything, more the opposite. She was mad at herself for hurting them, and she knew that if she ran into them again she'd just push them away and wind up hurting them more. She knew she'd have to face her problems eventually, but until then she would do her best to work them out mentally before she was out on the spot.
Eventually coming across the area she knew to be called the Twolegplace, she hesitated momentarily before stepping onto the rough streets. It was odd walking on the new stones, but she did suppose it was a place she would never stumble across anyone she knew. Walking further into the area with more confidence than her initial few steps, she smiled slightly. The scent here was very different, but it was in a sort of gentler way. Of course, the twoleg scent she knew well enough, but it was the animal's scents that had changed.
She gave a smile to a cat she saw. "Hello," she greeted the cat who, based on scent, undoubtedly lived there.

Thomas had been clinging to his feelings of bitterness and hatred, allowing them to fester in his heart, all to avoid feeling guilty about what he'd done in moments of uncontrollable emotion and anger. In the end, when he finally calmed down... He couldn't help hating what he saw in his reflection. He wasn't sure if he could suddenly release the hatred he'd hung onto for so long... But he had to try.
He felt like crap now, so he guessed that was a start. Allowing himself to feel the guilt he'd run from all this time. The result? He felt like a humongous pile of fox-dung now. He was a real fox-heart, being able to do that to his little sister... In his rage-filled mind, he'd somehow justified his anger at her, somehow pinned the blame on her. Her, when she at the time, had been younger than six moons. Only now did he see how wrong that was.... Crap.
He sighed, walking down the sidewalk, the tag on his collar lightly spinning as it dangled. He stared at the ground as he mulled over how to... Erm... Well, he wasn't sure. He had no idea how to fix any of it. That... That Jude guy would never let him near Natalia. Maybe he could try to find Eve.... He wasn't sure where she was.
Suddenly he looked up and stopped in his tracks. "Oh. Hello." He said. The cat before him... Seemed to be a loner who was strolling through here for some reason. It was odd, loners usually stuck to places that were usually twoleg-free.

I've wasted time, I've wasted breath Calista, instinctively, inspected the other cat. He was an orange tabby with orange eyes. Based on his tone, he obviously wasn't paying much attention to his path which gave him even more odds of being a kitty pet. He didn't look like much of a threat, though she of all cats knew not to judge a cat by their appearance. Or by stereotypes.
"I'm Calista." she introduced herself. "I... er... don't spend much time around here."

((Thomas' eyes are green
Thomas felt like he was under a microscope. It was weird... The last time he felt like this was when... Natalia looked at him. She always looked as if you were an interesting puzzle she had to solve. He pushed away the thoughts. He couldn't get lost in his head while talking to someone.
"It's kind of obvious." He said. "I'm Thomas. Nice to meet you."

I've wasted time, I've wasted breath Calista chuckled. "I suppose it is." she responded. They were from two different worlds. She didn't belong as he wouldn't belong if he went out into the wild. Once again she had wound up in another world to avoid family. She had no clue why she even tried to live near them at this point. All it caused was pain on both fronts. "The pleasure is mine," she added instead of voicing any of her thoughts to the complete stranger.
Sorry, I was thinking orange tabby and accidentally put orange eyes too. template by Sammy @ Adox 2.0

((good thing thomas can't read minds. he'd deffo take offense to the concept that he couldn't survive in the wild))
Thomas nodded stiffly. "Er... So... What brings you here?" He asked, not sure what else to say. He knew nothing of this stranger, thus he did not know what to talk about. It was all rather awkward. He'd always been this unsure social awkwardness. He didn't know about now, but Natalia used to be the kind of brazen social awkward. She'd open her mouth or do something, obliviously not knowing that what she did wasn't exactly socially acceptable. Like walking away in the middle of conversation.

I've wasted time, I've wasted breath Cali shrugged. "It's... new. I havent been here before." she responded, not bothering to add that it was the last place her brothers would look for her. She really had to stop avoiding her issues, but she didn't want to open up to her brothers because she knew they wouldn't help her through it, they'd get mad. If either of them were as mad at her as they would be... that would push her over the wrong edge.
Well, sticking out is different than not surviving.
